Greek Thrashers Biotoxic Warfare Release 'Lobotomized'!

A couple of days ago I posted about Biotoxic Warfare's new title single "Lobotomized" being released and now the record itself is out, so check it out and read all the details below!!....

Lobotomized, the debut album from Greece’s Biotoxic Warfare is out now via Slaney Records.

The eight track, thrash infested opus from the Cretan band sounds like a bastard child between both Teutonic thrash and American death metal. Add to this combination, 'dark melodies, shredding guitar solos and the technical riffing’ that the band say make up their debut release, and you’ve neatly combined a ferocious cocktail that will induce an inevitable, headbanging hangover. What more can you want?

Here’s what press are saying about the album.

"If Lobotomized is a sign for all the good albums that are to come in 2015, then I cannot fucking wait…an amazing start to the year’s metal releases." 10/10 Metal Addicts

"...Eight shots of pure aggression...No pretension, no over the top effects, just pure and simple thrash." Sound the Charge

"There is something magically evil about the music on Lobotomized that leaves you on your knees and begging for more." Two Guys Metal Reviews

Since their formation little over two years ago and having already supported the likes of Enforcer and Suicidal Angels and released one highly lauded EP, ‘Baptized in Blood and Greed’ [2013], Biotoxic Warfare are emerging from the Greek underbelly as a force to be reckoned with. This is demonstrated in full on their debut album release, Lobotomized.

The band recorded the album at their home studio and went on to have it mixed and mastered by Vaggelis Theodorakis (Revolted Masses). Lobotomized’s artwork, designed by Roberto Toderico, encapsulates the messages from within the album.

The band describe the artwork as depicting “the massive lobotomy and brain washing that terrorizes our society by any organized religion party, and aims to a global propaganda in order to control and twist the freedom of thinking and acting for yourself.”

3. Baptized In Blood And Greed
4. Dysphoric Reality

INTERVIEW: Cellar Darling (Switzerland)

INTERVIEW: Cellar Darling (Switzerland)

Cellar Darling is comprised of Anna Murphy, Ivo Henzi, and Merlin Sutter who recently formed following the spilt from previous well-known folk metal band, Eluveitie. The trio have been hard at work since, creating their anticipated debut album 'This Is The Sound' which was released June 30th via Nuclear Blast Records and have impressed fans and press alike with their fresh and unique sound which has been dubbed as "the new wave of folk rock“. This is an exciting and busy time for the band, so I caught up with them to find out about their origins, their new album, touring and what is in store for the band amongst other things..

Can you tell us about the formation of Cellar Darling following leaving your previous band Eluveitie and how the band came to be?
Merlin: What I remember most clearly is how quick it went. As you might know, the whole thing with Eluveitie came very unexpected for us - we were informed of a decision by the remain…

REVIEW: Bobaflex - Eloquent Demons

Hard Rockers Bobaflex from West Virginian are back to wreak havoc with their eighth album ‘Eloquent Demons’ which is the follow to 2015’s ‘Anything That Moves’, this sees not only their first release through Thermal Entertainment but their first actual label release in a while after the band decided to go independent. They are a very hardworking and tireless band, having extensively toured, and even setting records for this, they certainly don’t do anything by half measures.
The opening intro and title track sounds very appropriately evil, with a creepy intro speech to set the scene whilst we wait for the demons to be fully unleashed…
First proper track ‘I Am Nightmare’ immediately sees heavy dark guitars and melodic group singing, which give it a classic feel with a gritty edge and is possesses a hell of a powerful chorus, not to mention a killer solo – this will be hard to forget.
Keeping the momentum going is ‘Long Time Coming’ which is equally as hard-hitting, with groove ridden and…

INTERVIEW: Mutation (with Ginger Wildheart & Scott Lee Andrews)

Interview with Ginger Wildheart & Scott Lee Andrews of Mutation

Mutation are an extreme metal act from the UK formed in 2013 by well-known vocalist/guitarist Ginger Wildheart, the man behind the rock group The Wildhearts and the frontman of Exit International, Scott Lee Andrews. The trio is completed by drummer known as Denzel (Dean Pearson) who has been involved in many projects with Ginger and plays in Young Legionnaire. I caught up with Ginger and Scott to discuss the beginnings of Mutation, the new album '‘Mutation III: Dark Black’, touring, the future, mental health and much more in this interesting and honest interview.

As a musician who has played in many bands, most notably The Wildhearts and formed many projects, how did you come to form Mutation and why when you did?

Ginger: I did it mainly because I wanted to make the music that was in my head, and it didn’t look like anyone else wanted to do it.

At the time I was playing and writing with Michael Monroe, and while I l…
