DIABLO BLVD Release 2 New Music Videos & Start Pre-order For Upcoming Album 'Zero Hour'

DIABLO BLVD Unleash 2 Music Videos And New Album 'Zero Hour' Is Available To Pre-order

Belgian dark rock outfit DIABLO BLVD is proud to announce the launch of 2 brand new music videos. 'Animal' and 'Sing From The Gallows' are the first 2 singles taken from the highly awaited new album, Zero Hour, which is scheduled for September 22th, 2017.

DIABLO BLVD main man Alex Agnew had to say on the announcement: "I once heard somebody say that in troubling times like these, there can never be enough bands using their music and lyrics as a platform to object and to protest. It’s safe to say that »Zero Hour« is our contribution to that statement and although I realize there’s too much beyond our control, it would be an even bigger crime not to speak about it. The idea behind the album title is that the protective shell we live in, can no longer hide what is really going on. The world outside is catching up to us. Just like on the album cover (see below) where a beautiful sculpture is burning on the inside, we have to realize that what we once knew is no longer there. It’s just a matter of time before we will experience some kind of ‘reset’ whatever that may be. Both ‘Animal’ and ‘Sing From The Gallows’ deal with subjects of politics, classical religions and newer versions of mass manipulation and how it messes up our everyday lives. These 2 tracks formed the blueprint of what »Zero Hour« is all about and that’s exactly why we decided to release these videos at the same time. Together they form one story and an intense first introduction to our soundtrack for the End Times!"

Zero Hour is a dark eleven-track groove monster with haunting melodies, huge guitar riffs, driving bass and pounding drums. Taking their inspiration from both classic metal acts like TYPE O NEGATIVE, METALLICA and BLACK SABBATH and eighties new wave bands like KILLING JOKE, SISTERS OF MERCY and GANG OF FOUR, DIABLO BLVD craft a unique sound ideally suited for these dark times. The perfect soundtrack to the end times!

REVIEW: Bobaflex - Eloquent Demons

Hard Rockers Bobaflex from West Virginian are back to wreak havoc with their eighth album ‘Eloquent Demons’ which is the follow to 2015’s ‘Anything That Moves’, this sees not only their first release through Thermal Entertainment but their first actual label release in a while after the band decided to go independent. They are a very hardworking and tireless band, having extensively toured, and even setting records for this, they certainly don’t do anything by half measures.
The opening intro and title track sounds very appropriately evil, with a creepy intro speech to set the scene whilst we wait for the demons to be fully unleashed…
First proper track ‘I Am Nightmare’ immediately sees heavy dark guitars and melodic group singing, which give it a classic feel with a gritty edge and is possesses a hell of a powerful chorus, not to mention a killer solo – this will be hard to forget.
Keeping the momentum going is ‘Long Time Coming’ which is equally as hard-hitting, with groove ridden and…

REVIEW: Vrona - Impermanence (Prog Metal)

Prog metallers, Vrona released their debut EP 'A Lapse In Time' last year which received positive press and even led to them being compared to the likes of heavyweights Karnivool, TesseracT and Tool, minus the vocals, as in 2016 they were an instrumental act. Now in 2017, they are back, not only with a new two-track release titled 'Impermanence' but they have also unveiled and added an extra dimension to their already massive sound with the introduction of a vocalist Jamie Ball.

The main title track 'Impermanence' is ambient and textured. The vocals are pleasant, captivating and varied which immediately gives them a different feel and layer, proving that adding vocalist Jamie was a wise move. It features soaring and powerful moments throughout. The fact that they now have vocals doesn't overpower the well crafted and intelligible instruments either but only acts as the perfect unison, with both complimenting each other wonderfully. They are all impressive mu…
