These bonus tracks originate from the time when RAGE was still called AVENGER. Peavy comments: "It was really nice to re-record the songs from my first years of being a musician! I remember quite well how the songs were created. I always thought that it's a pity that most of the people don't know these songs, just because they were released with another band name. For me it was always clear that these songs are kind of timeless and when we played them together it was really awesome! Back then, we couldn't realise our ideas as good as today. When you listen to the new recordings you will recognise how fantastic these songs really are!"

Rock Duo SONS Release Video Single 'Marco' Raising Awareness Of Mental Health & Gun Control

Brighton punk rockers are back and hitting hard once again with their new video single 'Marco'. They have released a powerful video to accompany the song which was directed by Graham Cullis.

Check out the video for 'Marco' below:

The band states that: "The Message in this video is primarily to promote mental health illness awareness and how we need to cure the mind to help prevent tragedy that often occurs due to ignorance of others dismissing the people that need help."

Although ‘Marco’ was inspired by shootings in the USA such as the Stoneman Douglas High School incident and the YouTube attack in this video shows that gun control is something that needs to be addressed globally. As well as some cases in the US the video also shows footage of the Nairobi mall massacre in Kenya and the aftermath of the Dunblane Primary School in Scotland. SONS are fully behind any campaign aimed at tightening gun laws and making people more responsible with their firearms so th…

DESERT STORM Announce New Album 'Sentinels'

DESERT STORM ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM 'SENTINELS'
TO BE RELEASED MARCH 16TH ON APF RECORDS!
2018 marks the return of Oxford-based sludge-metal titans Desert Storm as they prepare to follow the release of 2014’s critically-acclaimed ‘Omniscient’ album with their new opus ‘Sentinels’, confirmed for release this coming March 16th via APF Records.

Recorded with engineer Jamie Dodd (Orange Goblin) at Flesh & Bone Studio's, Hackney and tracked by Steve 'Geezer' Watkins at Woodworm studios (which has also been used by legendary Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi), ‘Sentinels’ is a colossal sounding record, it’s ten tracks punching the listener with an oppressive towering monolithic sound that batters, but never dulls the senses.

“This album is a natural progression from our previous releases,” explains guitarist Ryan Cole. “It has the Desert Storm sound, but has moved in a much harder, darker and heavier direction.”

Today we get to hear the first rumblings from ‘Sentinels’ in …
