Mammothfest Announce UK Exclusive Set From Decapitated, Final Show From King Leviathan & More!
Mammothfest are proud to announce that Decapitated will now be doing a UK exclusive headline set on Saturday the 6th October in Brighton. So make sure you come down and witness the death metal carnage that ensues from the Polish act.
The festival also has some other line-up changes, as unfortunately Cypecore who were due to headline on Sunday can now longer attend but Mammothfest local legends King Leviathan are taking the headline slot which is actually also their last ever local performance, so don't miss this momentous goodbye for the blackened thrash metallers. Brighton punk rockers are back and hitting hard once again with their new video single 'Marco'. They have released a powerful video to accompany the song which was directed by Graham Cullis.

The band states that: "The Message in this video is primarily to promote mental health illness awareness and how we need to cure the mind to help prevent tragedy that often occurs due to ignorance of others dismissing the people that need help."
Although ‘Marco’ was inspired by shootings in the USA such as the Stoneman Douglas High School incident and the YouTube attack in this video shows that gun control is something that needs to be addressed globally. As well as some cases in the US the video also shows footage of the Nairobi mall massacre in Kenya and the aftermath of the Dunblane Primary School in Scotland. DESERT STORM ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM 'SENTINELS' TO BE RELEASED MARCH 16TH ON APF RECORDS! 2018 marks the return of Oxford-based sludge-metal titans Desert Storm as they prepare to follow the release of 2014’s critically-acclaimed ‘Omniscient’ album with their new opus ‘Sentinels’, confirmed for release this coming March 16th via APF Records.
Recorded with engineer Jamie Dodd (Orange Goblin) at Flesh & Bone Studio's, Hackney and tracked by Steve 'Geezer' Watkins at Woodworm studios (which has also been used by legendary Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi), ‘Sentinels’ is a colossal sounding record, it’s ten tracks punching the listener with an oppressive towering monolithic sound that batters, but never dulls the senses.
“This album is a natural progression from our previous releases,” explains guitarist Ryan Cole. “It has the Desert Storm sound, but has moved in a much harder, darker and heavier direction.”
