Since releasing the latest album in summer, the band started to look forward: ‘here for the drama’ is a fresh take on today's rock sound whilst the lyrics tackle the ruthness of internet culture. ‘’After the last album, our feelings were still very heavy and tired from the current world situation and when scrolling through social media it felt like people were losing their perception of reality and feeling of empathy towards others. We just felt so tired and mad, that’s when the song started pouring out‘’, singer Lotta Ruutiainen says. CAVE IN ANNOUNCE RELAPSE RECORDS DEBUT FULL-LENGTH 'HEAVY PENDULUM' OUT MAY 20

The legendary CAVE IN makes a highly anticipated return with their Relapse Records debut, Heavy Pendulum, their first full studio record in over a decade. CAVE IN (Stephen Brodsky - Guitar/Vocals, Adam McGrath - Guitar/Vocals, John-Robert Conners - Drums) sees a revival following the addition of Nate Newton (Converge, Doomriders, Old Man Gloom) on bass and vocals. Watch the New Reality music video (directed by Michael Gilday) AT THIS LOCATION  or below. “Cave In’s been around for over 25 years now, and the time has come for an album that scales all of our creative peaks. Talk about a wild and weird ride! And here we are with Heavy Pendulum - it certainly feels like a remarkable event, given the erratic trajectory of our band. New Reality was always the lead-off track - that was pretty obvious during the writing process. New line-up, new label, new album... a new reality indeed, and it all adds up to a new lease on life for Cave In.” Heavy Pendulum is out May 20 on DLX 2xLP/2xLP/CD/

Garage rock crusaders SONS are back with a vengeance on seething new single 'Nothing'

Amps up to 11, phasers set to stun and off they go! SONS are back with a furious and insanely catchy slab of rock & roll. A pulsating staccato guitar riff, drums getting a serious beating and singer Robin Borghgraef spitting his lyrics into the mic as if to get rid of a foul stench in his mouth. “Nothing ain’t wrong / Nothing ain’t real / Nothing inside me makes me feel now / I feel like going all blind / I feel like falling behind now” It’s clear that the last couple of years left its mark on the gentlemen from Melsele (North of Flanders, near Antwerp). “Nothing deals with feeling numb and emotionless. Dealing with a lack of impulses by searching for a kick or a rush”, the singer/guitarist explains. SONS tackle this by fashionably trashing a house in the wonderful video for the single. It’s full-throttle rock & roll fun and much needed after this 2-year standstill. ‘Nothing’ offers a first taste of the brand-new album ‘Sweet Boy’, due for release on April 22nd on [PIAS] Rec

LUCIFER'S CHILD releases new single 'Nova Tenebris'

Greek black metallers LUCIFER'S CHILD are back with a new single "Nova Tenebris", taken from their split release with Brazil's MYSTIFIER, "Under Satan's Wrath". While the split is set to be released on March 25th on Agonia Records, the song is available now on all streaming platforms. Listen to "Nova Tenebris" on YouTube, at: https://youtu.be/CHc8eN3rkSk Put together despite an ocean's distance, "Under Satan's Warth" displays the borderlessness of black metal in the strict sense. The collision of Brazilian occultism & Hellenic blasphemy ensues blistering sonic impressions in a hellish dance of cultures, robed in a gold black garment from Mitchell Nolte (Aborted, Baest). George Emmanuel (ex-Rotting Christ), who co-launched LUCIFER'S CHILD in 2013, commented: "After almost a year and half of isolation and profound research, we gave birth to a new seed of evil, 'Under Satan's Wrath'. This deep rooted

AFTERMATH ENCOURAGES LISTENERS TO "GIVE PEACE A CHANCE" WITH THEIR RE-IMAGINED VERSION OF THE JOHN LENNON CLASSIC

While Aftermath released this emotionally driven cover over two years ago, the world is currently faced with an entirely new crisis that requires a reminder for peace. The band re-imagined John Lennon's cover of "Give Peace a Chance" during the initial wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. When lines were drawn and families and friendships were being torn apart from differing opinions and fear, Aftermath wanted to send out their friendly, musical reminder to take a step back from the chaos and "Give Peace a Chance". Given the current state of affairs between governments and countries, our own included, Aftermath felt now was the perfect time to send out their heartfelt reminder one more time. "We believe that John and Yoko’s message in "Give Peace a Chance" is timeless. When we recorded and released our re-imagined version two years ago it was relevant, and for the innocent victims of this senseless war it is even more relevant now. We will donate any
