ARJUN - CORE Album Review

      This three piece instrumental act from New York have put in a lot of effort to form their own unique sound by using elements of rock, jazz and experimentalism, and now they are back with their follow up to their trilogy "Space”, which was the first in a three-album trilogy, with the second ‘piece’ of the puzzle, “CORE” to untangle more creativity from the band..   Opening song, “Rocks” has a hopeful feel to it before sliding into a plethora of carefully constructed melodies and tones which help unravel a story solely through the use of clever instrumentation. You are left hanging on to every note that resonates out… “Deep Impact” continues this notion and the drums stand out more here, complementing the bass beats and melodic guitar riffs, along with a superb solo which highlights Arun’s talents further.
