PSYCHOSTICK Video 'Rent In Peace' ft. James Rolfe (Angry Video Game Nerd) Pays Homage To Blockbuster



The days of worrying about late fees and the newest release being unavailable are over, but for some, the death of childhood favourite movie destination Blockbuster, it’s still a tragic realization. For those people - and everyone else, PSYCHOSTICK have released a music video to compliment their 2018 track 'Rent In Peace', an ode to days past.

'Rent In Peace', one of the band’s most heartfelt songs, comes from the latest album “DO” and features a cameo from James Rolfe (The Angry Video Game Nerd/Cinemassacre) and if filmed on the set of Rolfe’s “Rental Reviews”. PSYCHOSTICK comments on the cameo:

"People are probably wondering how James Rolfe ended up in one of our music videos. First of all, that video shoot was a hell of a lot of fun, James is a super chill, smart dude with a great sense of humour and good taste in beer. Speaking of beer, that's where it all started... with the promise of a single beer back in 2010. It wasn’t until nine years later when I was finally able to deliver on the promised beer and a plan for the video was set."

Rolfe adds: "I'm really happy about the crossover. It was lots of fun!"

For those who like comedic music ala Dethklok, Bloodhound Gang, Tenacious D, and Weird Al, PSYCHOSTICK is sure to be a hit.

"DO" is the latest full length from PSYCHOSTICK and was released during July 2018 as a surprise album that was four years in the making to follow their extremely fan loved "IV: Revenge of The Vengeance" to continue the band's genius of blending comedy, metal, heavy rock and the occasional spoof cover.

"DO" debut #1 on Billboard’s Comedy Albums chart along with ranking at #14 for Hard Rock Album, #39 for Rock Album, #39 for Independent Albums and #9 for Heatseekers Albums for the week of August 11th, 2018.

Metallica Announce Huge European 2019 Tour With Ghost

Metallica have announced a massive European tour including 2 UK dates at London and Manchester.

The metal legends will play Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on June 18 next year, before heading to London’s Twickenham Stadium on June 20.

Support comes in the form of Ghost and Bokassa.
