  To help celebrate the 10th year (THE TENTH YEAR!) of the mighty ArcTanGent Festival in 2024, todays band announcement is very likely it's biggest ever band announcement in its history. Yes, it is a biggie, and yes it will make you all very happy. Announced for this years event are the world renowned, globally acclaimed Scottish post rock band Mogwai, who play the festival for the very first time. An incredibly special band with one of the richest, most varied, interesting and loved back catalogues of music, ArcTanGent Festival is thrilled to have them grace our stages this summer. They are a band that the team at ATG has been trying to book since it began, back in 2013. Joining them include the atmospheric and powerful Texan quartet, Explosions In The Sky, the mysterious and anonymous duo Clown Core who play music ranging from grindcore to jazz, and the much loved, insanely talented Norwegian multi instrumentalist Ihsahn.
