PARADISE LOST reveals new single and video ‘Serpent On The Cross'

  Icons of goth and doom, PARADISE LOST have revealed the second single, ‘Serpent on the Cross,’ from their long-awaited, 17th album Ascension that’s out September 19th from Nuclear Blast Records. Commenting on the song, vocalist Nick Holmes says: "The cross represents stability, prosperity, hope and happiness. The serpent represents trepidation, anguish and overbearing sadness, lurking in the shadows ready to take everything away." Paradise Lost Discuss Their Music Videos From The "Host" Era

On March 16th, cult metallers PARADISE LOST will release a remastered version of their legendary seventh studio album, "Host", and a first-ever pressing of the songs on vinyl. After revealing some anecdotes from the recording process of the album, initially released in 1999, singer Nick Holmes and guitarist Greg Mackintosh look back at filming the music videos for 'So Much Is Lost' in Hollywood and 'Permanent Solution' in a drive-in cinema in Vienna. Paradise Lost Reveal Tracklist For New Album 'Medusa' & Release First Teaser Of New Song!

On September 1st, PARADISE LOST's studio album 'Medusa' will herald the loneliness and damp cold of autumn, as the legends from West Yorkshire return to their doom metal roots and deliver their 15th full-length release named after the Greek Gorgone whose sight turned people into stone. The British cult metallers will premiere the first track off their freshly forged monster on July 7th, and can reveal a snippet from the upcoming single entitled 'The Longest Winter'. Paradise Lost To Release Special Anniversary Edition of 'One Second' Ahead of next year’s 30th anniversary, Paradise Lost, the genre-defining British doom metal are set to release the 20th anniversary edition of their 1997 album ‘One Second’ through Music For Nations on 14th July. Having continually proved themselves to be at the forefront of the UK rock and metal scene, ‘One Second’ proved to be a turning point for the band, where they left behind their harder edge and began experimenting with electronics and keyboards taking on a more gothic direction. 20 years on from its release singles, ‘Say Just Words’ and title track ‘One Second’ are still performed live today. Who will be playing on what day at Blastfest 2015? The time has now arrived and Blastfest organisers have now released the day schedule! Blastfest will begin on Bergen's finest party boat, Showline, with the ship setting sail at 1pm and heading into the sunset with live bands and a set from a very special DJ.
