The Rolling Stones announce new studio album 'Foreign Tongues'

  London, 5th May 2026 - The Rolling Stones today announce the release of their highly anticipated new studio album Foreign Tongues, arriving 10th July from Polydor/Universal Music. The incredibly vibrant 14-track collection follows less than three years after the band’s universally acclaimed, Grammy Award-winning Hackney Diamonds, which topped charts worldwide and achieved multi-platinum success. The new album will be introduced by the upbeat and infectious lead single ‘In the Stars’, released digitally on 5th May alongside the album’s opening track ‘Rough and Twisted.’ In The Stars receives a physical release on 15th May.   To commemorate the 1st anniversary of The Rolling Stones’ 2023 number one album Hackney Diamonds, a special edition vinyl edition is being released this winter. The 2LP release features album singles ‘Angry’, ‘Sweet Sounds of Heaven’ and ‘Mess It Up’, plus 7 additional live recordings performed at the album’s live launch at Racket, New York in October 2023 including ‘Sweet Sounds of Heaven’ with Lady Gaga, as well as performances of ‘Shattered’, ‘Tumbling Dice’, and ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’. The new edition, available from November 29, marks a year since the Stones’ first studio set of original material since 2005 was released. The Rolling Stones return to 'Voodoo Lounge' for 30th Anniversary Editions

  To mark the 30th anniversary of the Rolling Stones' Grammy-winning 1994 album Voodoo Lounge, special editions in both physical and digital formats are being released this summer. The release includes four additional tracks which will be making their debut on streaming services. The new editions, available from July 12, celebrate a studio set that sold more than six million copies worldwide including Stones favourites 'You Got Me Rocking,' Out Of Tears' and the UK top 20 single 'Love Is Strong,' and went on to win a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. The 30th anniversary releases, which will be augmented with a merch range, are a 2LP red and yellow vinyl edition, and a separate 2LP red and yellow vinyl which adds a white vinyl 10” disc featuring the four bonus tracks. This biography was originally published in France but has fortunately been translated into English, making it available to more music fans worldwide. For those who may not know who Giorgio Gomelsky is, he was at the forefront of the counterculture in 60s London and 70s Paris before running a studio for upcoming and avant-garde musicians in New York. He was impressively the original manager of the Rolling Stones and the Yardbirds (the band has been revered for the legendary guitarists who have contributed to the band's history including Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.
