  Saturday 1 July - London - Crystal Palace Park came alive with raw, exciting punk energy for one day only at Dog Day Afternoon with an unbelievable line up Iggy Pop, Blondie, punk rock supergroup Generation Sex (Steve Jones, Paul Cook, Tony James, Billy Idol), plus Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers and Lambrini Girls. The godfather of punk Iggy Pop is renowned for his electrifying live performances and Dog Day Afternoon was no different. From the first note of ‘Rune’ (Noveller cover), Iggy had the crowd in the palm of his hand. The plethora of hits is what makes his live shows so iconic, from “Lust for Life” to “The Passenger” and “Search and Destroy”.
