BLOODSTOCK announces 27 more bands for 25th anniversary in 2026

  As plans for BLOODSTOCK’s 25th anniversary get underway, the festival has unveiled another 27 bands for 2026’s monumental event. With heavyweights, cult favourites, and rising stars joining the awesome bands already announced, this year’s line-up is shaping up to be one for the ages. Urne Announce New Studio Album + Release Single/ Video 'Be Not Dismayed'

  London modern metal band, URNE, – Joe Nally (bass, vocals), Angus Neyra (guitar) and James Cook (drums) –have announced details of their new studio album, Setting Fire To The Sky. Produced by SikTh co-vocalist Justin Hill, mixed by Johann Meyer (Silvercord Studio), mastered by Tony Lindstrom at Fascination Street Studio and scheduled for release on January 30th 2026 via Spinefarm, Setting Fire To The Sky whips up a firestorm of grit, swagger and grandiosity. Snarling hardcore, extreme inflections, and a strong sense of heavy metal’s inherent classicism, all burn together within Urne’s burial chamber, propelling the band forward. “I feel like I'm in Metallica in 1988 with what we do,” says Nally.   Beloved by tastemakers and the underground, London metal trio, URNE, have today released a nine minute-plus undulating epic, ‘Harken The Waves’, featuring guest vocals from Mastodon’s Troy Sanders. On it, his and URNE frontman Joe Nally’s voices blend to form a duet cresting the surface of the song. “We feel this is one of the best songs we’ve ever written.   Following a rapturously received set on the main stage at BLOODSTOCK Festival and an exclusive release show in Camden's Black Heart, London metal trio URNE have announced their first ever headline tour of the UK. "We are extremely excited to announce our first UK headline tour!   Today, London metal trio URNE have released their new album A Feast On Sorrow via Candlelight Records. This deeply personal studio album is a stark rumination on the grim inevitabilities of disease, dementia and deterioration in old age.
