VARATHRON Reveal New Album Trailer And Details

Legendary, epic Greek black metallers, VARATHRON, will return with their sixth studio album titled "Patriarchs Of Evil" on April 27th via Agonia Records. Watch a teaser video for this release at: https://youtu.be/JQal6cck2qg Co-founded in 1988 by Stefan Necroabyssious, the band's vocalist and sole original member, VARATHRON has been on a steady release schedule since 2004's "Crowreign". The latter album introduced Haris (drums) and Achilleas C. (guitars) to the band, who were later joined by Sotiris (guitars) and Stratos (bass), and who together established a new, well-bonded line-up of an already established Hellenic black metal act, considered as one of the forefathers of the genre, next to Rotting Christ and Necromantia. Having previously described "Patriarchs Of Evil" as "heavy, dark and full of melodies that will revive past memories", VARATHRON elaborates on the successor to "Untrodden Corridors Of Hades"...

VARATHRON Reveal First Video From 'Patriarchs Of Evil' Recording Sessions

VARATHRON Release Studio Session Video From Upcoming Album Legendary Greek black metallers VARATHRON are working on their sixth studio album "Patriarchs Of Evil" and today they have released the first video from the recording sessions. Watch drummer Haris record drums at Infinite Loop Music Studio in Ioannina (Greece) and hear fragments of new pre-production songs at: https://youtu.be/p0F8zKDKhf0 VARATHRON commented: "We are very excited to announce that the recordings of our upcoming album "Patriarchs of Evil" have come to an end and we are already in the mixing process! Drums were recorded once again at "Infinite Loop Music Studio" in Ioannina, Greece. In the video you can see some great moments capturing Haris' performance.
