Under Blackened Skies are a five piece metal band that hail from Birmingham, UK. The band have an impressive array of accolades behind them, including playing at Bloodstock 2010, headlining BasementFest 2011 (which they are playing again this year supporting big headlining acts!), featuring in an international magazine,  and playing the 02 Academy in Birmingham supporting Road Runner band, Baptized In Blood.  They will also be supporting Beholder on the 1st of March 2012, and lastly vocalist Manu Patel provided lead vocals for Daniel Lioneye (HIM's side project) on their 2011 tour of America, Canada and Finland, where they supported Cradle Of Filth (all I must say I'm a big fan of!). Melodic Metalcore 6 piece from Birmingham, comprised of, Jay Smith (Vocals), Dave Plimmer (Bass), Tom Knight (Growls), Rob Bonnell (Guitar), Sam Nathaniel (Guitar) and Josh Hill (Drums) with an age range of 17-23..you wouldn't know that they were so young judging by their creative mature sound..it just proves how talented these guys are! Wrapped In Plastic - "LollyGagger" EP Review Warped industrial punk rockers , Wrapped In Plastic return with a new EP, "LollyGagger"..Although the definition of this title means to fool around, the band certainly haven't slacked..they have put alot of dark and twisted thoughts into these four tracks, in what could be their most bizarre and best offering yet!.. The brilliantly titled, "Popomatic" is full of spooky strange sounds that compliment the song well..this song is very reminiscent of Marilyn Manson in parts. "Marionette" it will have you shouting along to the choruses of "Hate, Hate"..Very aggressive lyrics, but we can't help but love it! "Monkey See" is a fast energetic track, shouting, "Hey, Hey, Hey" throughout, making you what to sing along! Very catchy fast tempo track! I put some questions to the sick and twisted minds of Birmingham based band, Wrapped In Plastic.. How you sum up the new EP, "LollyGagger"? Dope. How do you think it compares to your previous material? A loaded question. As with our previous CDs, this is produced by us, and with the experience, our skills have continued to improve. This is probably the more ‘conventional’ of our CDs in presentation terms, but the music is not compromised. It still is fuelled by hate, abuse and little boys. What are you most proud of on the EP, do you have any particular favourites, and if so why? The songs are all like our children and so it wouldn’t be fair to single any particular on out. Like children, you can tell that one might be more pleasant to others, whilst another might just be trouble. But they are all equally important. Explain the concept behind it.
