Festival Preview: Mammothfest UK - Upcoming Acts To Watch!

Mammothfest is just two and a half weeks away now! The Brighton festival is back yet again, but this year it is all happening at their new home under one roof at The Arch venue, located on the seafront which boasts two stages for the three-day mental weekend that is taking place on the 6-8th October.  The line-up is immense and impressively features all three headliners as UK exclusives with Rotting Christ, Fleshgod Apocalypse, and Amenra as well as a UK exclusive set from Norwegian Black metallers Tsjuder. Other heavyweight acts on the bill include Dragged Into Sunlight, Akercoke, Vodun, Lawnmower Deth, Meta-stasis and more, which surely are all bands you will want to be checking out, but to help you plan your itinerary for the festival weekend further, here is a list of a few upcoming bands that you should be checking out at the festival also! Sorrow Plagues Release New Video 'Relinquish' & Reveal Album Launch Show Details

Sorrow Plagues Release New Video 'Relinquish' From Forthcoming Album 'Homecoming' Sorrow Plagues have released a new music video for the song 'Relinquish' which is the first single from the upcoming album 'Homecoming' . 'Homecoming' is the second full-length album to be self-released by Sorrow Plagues, the Brainchild of British musician David Lovejoy on May 27th . The album ventures into new territory with added elements of post-rock, and even including some contemporary influences, whilst still maintaining the atmospheric Black Metal sounds that Sorrow Plagues is known for. This is David Lovejoy's most ambitious effort so far. Lovejoy talks about the meaning of the song: "The song is about the importance of living in the present moment and realising that being stuck in the past and worrying about the future is the cause of a lot of our problems. I got the idea for writing lyrics on the topic whilst reading "A New Earth...
