Alice Cooper Among Artists to Pay Tribute To Ozzy Osbourne Who Died Aged 76

  The world has lost a true metal legend: one of the wildest and most beloved voices in metal, the frontman of Black Sabbath, a ground-breaking solo artist, and an unlikely reality star, Ozzy Osbourne. He passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the age of 76. His family confirmed the news in a statement: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis" His death comes just a few weeks after Ozzy reunited with Black Sabbath for the final time at their massive farewell show titled 'Back To The Beginning' on July 5th that took place in his hometown of Birmingham at Villa Park and was livestreamed for those who couldn't attend. YUNGBLUD RELEASES BLACK SABBATH COVER FOR CHARITY

  The globally recognised, creative force, Yungblud, has released a version of ‘Changes’, recorded live at Black Sabbath’s farewell concert, titled ‘Back to the Beginning’, at Villa Park on Saturday July 5 (watch the music video HERE from 5PM). The event became the highest grossing charity concert of all time. ‘ Changes - (Live from Villa Park) Back to the Beginning (Feat. Nuno Bettencourt, ii, Frank Bello, Adam Wakeman)’ is a breathtaking rendition of the 1972 track by the supergroup, featuring a powerhouse lead vocal by the 27-year-old British artist, whose recent album ‘Idols’ went to Number 1 in the UK charts, becoming his third consecutive album to do so.   Yungblud has just posted an incredible video capturing a tender moment between him and Ozzy Osbourne, taken ahead of Black Sabbath’s farewell concert at Villa Park, which took place on Saturday 5th July. See the video here Speaking about the significance of the moment, Yungblud said, "Back in 2022 on the video shoot for ‘The Funeral’, Ozzy gave me his gold cross and said 'I hope this brings you luck'. I thought, on this monumental moment for him and Sabbath, it was time for me to return the favour and let him know what he and the band means to me". BLACK SABBATH ‘BACK TO THE BEGINNING’ ADDITIONAL NAMES ANNOUNCED INCLUDING GUNS N' ROSES & TOOL

Following the announcement of the all-star extravaganza BACK TO THE BEGINNING celebrating the true creators of heavy metal earlier this month, Black Sabbath have announced a host of further artists to the extraordinary lineup. The sold-out show will see the original Black Sabbath – Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward – return to play for the first time in 20 years on July 5th at Villa Park. BACK TO THE BEGINNING, which will be hosted and compered by American actor Jason Momoa, will see Ozzy Osbourne play his own short set before joining with Black Sabbath for his final bow. The new acts added to the bill include Tool, Guns ‘N’ Roses and Rival Sons, who will join Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, Lamb Of God, Anthrax and Mastodon. CHARITY ALBUM INSPIRES OZZY OSBOURNE TO PICK CURE PARKINSON’S FOR BLACK SABBATH FAREWELL SHOW

  The UK charity Cure Parkinson’s will receive proceeds from Black Sabbath’s farewell concert at Villa Park this summer. The choice of charity was made by Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne following news of a compilation album - the brainchild of former manager Ian Grant (The Stranglers, The Cult, Big Country) and producer Paul Mitchell - featuring a number of rock legends. ‘Think Loud 4 Parkinson’s’ featuring music by Leo Sayer, Hank Marvin, The Waterboys, Paul Carrack, John Cooper Clarke, Gary Brooker and others is being backed by the charity. Organisers reached out to Ozzy and Sharon, highlighting the work done by Cure Parkinson’s and inspiring their choice to donate. Out on 14th February 2025, the album will see members of Dire Straits and Queen unite to help raise awareness and funds. The album will be released in tandem with a re-issue of the previously launched title track, Think Loud, followed by vinyl and CD editions of the album arriving on 21st February. Ozzy Osbourne Announces Last UK Tour With Judas Priest

Ozzy Osbourne has announced his last ever UK headline tour in 2019. The iconic rockstar that is Ozzy Osbourne who is also dubbed as ‘the Godfather of heavy metal’ is best known for being the lead vocalist of the legendary Black Sabbath who disbanded last year in 2017. He will celebrate an impressive five decades in the music industry, performing his final UK show at the O2 in London in February. Tickets for the shows go on general sale at 9am on September 7.
