Takedown Festival announces return in 2025

  Award nominated independent rock and metal festival, Takedown Festival has today announced it’s return in 2025. The festival will take place at the Portsmouth Guildhall on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th April 2024 with tickets set to go on sale on Friday 30th August 2024 at 9am BST. After announcing the postponement of the 2024 edition due to the basement development works on the Grade II building, Takedown Festival are hugely proud to announce it’s return in 2025 with the prolific Elvana (Elvis fronted Nirvana) headlining the Saturday and former MMA fighter fronted Kris Barras Band headlining the Friday. Joining Elvana and Kris Barras Band for a star-studded lineup will be Welsh alt-rockers Dreamstate, two-time MOBO award nominated Kid Bookie, fast rising UK metalcore stars Acres, Lake Malice, InVisions, URNE, The Nightmares, Ferocious Dog, Blanket and many more. Festival Preview: Mammothfest UK - Upcoming Acts To Watch!

Mammothfest is just two and a half weeks away now! The Brighton festival is back yet again, but this year it is all happening at their new home under one roof at The Arch venue, located on the seafront which boasts two stages for the three-day mental weekend that is taking place on the 6-8th October.  The line-up is immense and impressively features all three headliners as UK exclusives with Rotting Christ, Fleshgod Apocalypse, and Amenra as well as a UK exclusive set from Norwegian Black metallers Tsjuder. Other heavyweight acts on the bill include Dragged Into Sunlight, Akercoke, Vodun, Lawnmower Deth, Meta-stasis and more, which surely are all bands you will want to be checking out, but to help you plan your itinerary for the festival weekend further, here is a list of a few upcoming bands that you should be checking out at the festival also! Electronic Rockers Seething Akira To Play Victorious Festival, Portsmouth! Hardcore dub steppers and party ravers SEETHING AKIRA are confirmed to play Victorious Festival in Portsmouth this August. They'll be playing the Seaside Stage on the 27th along with SHY FX and many others, and a fantastic performance (as usual with their live show!) is expected! With so many fabulous bands playing, including the likes of Charlatans, Elbow, Stereophonics, Madness, Rita Ora, Franz Ferdinand, Jesus and Mary Chain along with many more, this whole weekend's going to be pretty damn awesome & Portsmouth will definitely be the place to get down and party! Collisions Spring Tour Dates!

New Year brings new tour dates! If you haven't yet witnessed this Drum 'N' Bass Electro Metal band from Brighton, now is your chance as they have just announced their spring tour dates! 2015 seems to be a blast for Collisions already, ready to make a high impact with their unique sound with frontman Olly's voice switching between singing to rapping to gutteral screaming they've gained quite a reputation for putting on an incredible live show - 'believe' me I have seen for myself! They are kicking off the tour at the Barfly in Camden on January 14th , with Reverence, 48 Hours and Pupious supporting.
