Watch the video here  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqkzWxtMvXU  or see below: With the band on the rise, we exclusively asked the dynamic metalcorers for the songs that have greatly influenced their sound: Limp Bizkit – Rollin "I grew up on Limp Bizkit and it didn’t matter what mood you were in, they lifted you up and got you moving. They were aggressive without being too serious and were (for me) one of the first main cross-genre bands who really pushed musical boundaries, all whilst having a lot of fun! I feel this is a BIG influence on the style PJ adopts" – Jimmy Martin (Harsh vocals) Scooter - Posse "Scooter is one of my biggest influences. I’m a huge fan of techno a...

SOUTH BERKELEY Sign With Krod Records & Reveal New Single 'Tiny Rascals'

SOUTH BERKELEY Sign With Krod Records & Release New Single 'Tiny Rascals' French punk trio SOUTH BERKELEY have recently unveiled their first single called 'Tiny Rascals', check out the new song and video below! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAHoMiZD_6c The band commented on the meaning and lyrics of the new song: "Tiny Rascals" is part of the calmest songs of the album. It's a haunting ballad with a fast groovy beat. The aim of this song was to bring back that sad and melancolic catchiness that tints some emo punk rock songs of the early 2000's. We like to describe some naive and pointless components in our lyrics, in a way to plunge the listener, either into a realistic context or into a dreamlike world. The lyrics: "I'm plummeting and crashing like the Concorde did I scrutinize the fallen wreck burning the field After those events I'm still the outcast kid The spine-chill to your motion picture film" The ba...

Diverse Rock Love Songs! (Valentines Feature)

The well know Heartagram Logo from Finnish rock band, HIM who described their music as 'Love Metal.' It's Valentine's Day on February 14th, so I thought I would look at some of my favourite love-related metal/rock songs to share with you! I have kept it mostly modern and tried to have a bit of variation in terms of the lyrical content of love and the spectrum of rock genres, from Classic Rock to Pop Punk! As there are so many to choose from! So first, I'm going to kick off with an early Paramore song (the band chose this name, as it was the maiden name of the bass player's mother at the time, then they learnt that 'paramour' meant "secret lover, they adopted name but altered the spelling!) From their first debut album, All We Know Is Falling (2005) - My Heart  The song closes the band's debut with a welcomed surprise, being the only Paramore song to feature screamed vocals from then guitarist Josh Farro, who, along with Hay...
