70000TONS OF METAL, The Original, The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise, has announced a change in the destination for its 2026 voyage. The upcoming edition of the festival at sea, taking place from January 29 to February 2, 2026, will now sail from Miami, Florida to Nassau, The Bahamas aboard Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas. Originally planned to return to Labadee, Haiti, the decision to reroute the journey was made out of an abundance of caution and with the well-being of all Sailors, artists, and crew as the top priority. "While Labadee has been a great port of call on past sailings, we are closely monitoring the evolving situation in Haiti and its surrounding regions," said Andy Piller, Skipper of 70000TONS OF METAL. "Ensuring the safety and comfort of our Survivors is non-negotiable. With that in mind, we’ve made the proactive decision to change course for 2026. Nassau provides a welcoming alternative that allows us to maintain the world-class experience ou...

Sinisthra (ft. Amorphis' Tomi Joutsen) New Music Video 'Eterne'

Finland’s Sinisthra featuring Amorphis vocalist Tomi Joutsen are sharing the new music video for single 'Eterne' off their forthcoming album, “The Broad and Beaten Way” due out May 15, 2020 via Rockshots Records. Listen to 'Eterne' at the following links: Music Video HERE . Spotify HERE . The band adds: '"Eterne' is the most straight- forward song on the album, almost a total opposite to the first single "Closely Guarded Distance". It's the album opener and sets the stage for things to come, with the expulsion from Eden taking place and everything irredeemably changed. The video was shot in a ruined house that was my childhood home. It solidifies the fact that things can't be reversed although some echoes might remain of what used to be." Best described as sadness tinged with despair and hope, “The Broad and Beaten Way” encapsulates raw emotion set against heavy and brooding music. This album comes 15 years after the ...

Melancholic progressive metallers AMORPHIS are about to unleash their latest offering entitled Queen Of Timeon May 18th via Nuclear Blast. Listen to opening track 'The Bee', here: https://youtu.be/xf_4uvymwRw Guitarist Esa Holopainen explains thew track: "This song is a very powerful opener and gives a nice picture of what the whole album is all about. You can already hear some new elements like choirs and orchestral arrangements in it." With vocalist Tomi Joutsen adding: "Of course, the lyrical inspiration is a bee, also in a metaphoric way. The tiniest thing can sometimes be the most important thing. A bee can bring life or if we destroy all the bees, life will stop here. It's a very beautiful animal, that's why you can find it on the album cover too. The track itself is a kind of progressive and I'm sure that it will surprise some fans in a positive...
