Inspired by morbid themes and the twists and turns of the human soul, their clever mix of brutality with a clearly assumed unhealthy side, is a reflection of the experiences that their singer had in his profession as a nurse in a psychiatric hospital.   Drawing influences from modern metal icons such as Alter Bridge, Gojira and Deftones, the uprising French melodic metal quintet DISCONNECTED new album is set to be released in April 2022. To keep us waiting, the band is releasing a new single : “King of the world”, on March 4, 2022. Pre-save link The new single comes out after the success of the previous two : ‘Unstoppable’, topping 1.5 millions streams, and ‘Life will always find its way’, both playlisted in 17 countries (Breaking Hard Metal on Apple Music, TOP OF THE CORE on Spotify …). “King of the world” was recorded at Studio Caverne (Paris-France), and at Jelly Cardarelli's studio in Darvault (France), mixed and mastered by Jelly Cardarelli and Symheris. DISCONNECTED played numerous shows in Europe, opened for Tremonti on his 2018 European tour (24 shows across 17 countries), for Judas Priest in January 2019 (Zenith of Paris), as well as Mass Hysteria in March and November of 2019.
