Corners of Sanctuary Are Taking Cover with Release of Warrant's "Inside Out"

  Primarily known for their nostalgic throwback sound of original, traditional Heavy Metal, Corners of Sanctuary (COS) threw their hats into the cover song arena for the first time last year with the band's renditions of several classic Def Leppard hits. Earlier this year, COS followed up with their version of Judas Priest's hit "Breaking the Law." With the group's recent signing to SODEH Records, the partnering has compiled the tracks all together, along with the addition of two new cover songs, and will be releasing a digital-only EP, "Taking Cover" this month. "Taking Cover" will include "Rock of Ages," "Mirror, Mirror," the aforementioned "Breaking the Law," "Bringing on the Heartbreak," and COS-ified versions of The Osmonds' "Crazy Horses" and Warrant's "Inside Out." Corners of Sanctuary Release Video for Judas Priest Cover of "Breaking the Law"

  Corners of Sanctuary (COS) have dropped a new video for their blazing cover of the Judas Priest classic, “Breaking the Law.” The track appears on the band’s new extended EP, "This is Metal," which is now available via Sonic Velocity Records on all major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Youtube and Deezer. The prolific Philly boys have hit the ground running with a host of shows, including a UK tour and a brand new extended EP release. Corners of Sanctuary Buckle Up for a 4X4 Tour in October and New Cover Release

  Corners of Sanctuary (COS), Philly's premier traditional Heavy Metal band, have announced show dates for their upcoming October 4x4 Tour, which is being presented by the Virginia-based group, The Gathering Productions. See schedule below. The run of dates, which is in conjunction with promoting the band's new best of compilation, "Metal Never Dies," has COS performing four shows, in four states, in four days. INTERVIEW - CORNERS OF SANCTUARY: "We all experience hurdles and challenges...it’s human nature. Writing songs is our way of overcoming ours."

Traditional American Heavy Metal band Corners of Sanctuary recently released their new Def Leppard tribute EP titled "Defying" and "Metal Never Dies", a best of compilation that includes 20 tracks spanning the band's 11-year career. It features old classics and new favourites. All of which have been newly remixed, remastered by longtime producer Bill Metoyer (Slayer, Armored Saint). They are also working on a new EP and full-length album for 2023 and opening for TRAPT later in the year. With a lot going on for the band, we chatted with guitarist/keyboardist Mick Michaels to speak about everything. Firstly, let’s go back to the beginning. What was your earliest memory of music and the moment you decided you wanted to be a musician?   Traditional American Metal band Corners of Sanctuary (COS) have released their new digital Def Leppard tribute EP titled "Defying." The EP is now available at a multitude of online retailers and streaming platforms including Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, iTunes and Youtube Music via Sonic Velocity Records. "Defying" includes cover versions of "Mirror, Mirror," "Rock of Ages" and a piano-envisioned version of the classic Leppard track, "Bringing on the Heartbreak." “Defying” was mastered by former Metal Blades Records engineer and producer Bill Metoyer (Slayer, Armored Saint).
