"DAWN is very near and dear to our hearts for several reasons. The first and most obvious: it is our first album effort and we are extremely proud of the product we have created together. Secondly, this album was completely funded by our fans via Indiegogo; a fact that continues to humble us everyday. DAWN is introspective. It is theatrical, it is angry, it is mournful, it is joyous, and it is rebellious. We do our best to take into account all of our musical tastes when we write; DAWN is our coming of age story and is, justifiably, chock full of emotions, varied genres, and passion. We hope you love it as much as we do!" - Echo Black Track List: 1. Overture: Silver Screens, Pt. 1 2. Dawn 3. Black Diamond 4. Checmicals 5. Poison App...

Hampshire doom metal maniacs Witchsorrow are due to release their fourth studio album, Hexenhammer, on May 25th via Candlelight Records. It’s an almost anthemic soundtrack to the end of the world lyrics… “I’ve always been obsessed with the end of the world,” explains vocalist / guitarist Necroskull . “On previous albums I’ve been wanting it to happen, because I was caught in a very dark place. On ‘No Light, Only Fire’ I was almost angry that it hadn’t happened. Now, it’s a massively confusing time where we...

Minneapolis, MN hard rock band Fire Fight has released the official music video for their single, "The Ghost Inside." "The Ghost Inside" is off of their 2017 released EP Transitions. Check out the video below: “’The Ghost Inside’ is our favorite song to play live. It’s got it all, and in a very short amount of time, from heavy riffage down to soft vocals building into an epic chorus and back to the heavy riffing, and that reflects the story behind it: light vs. darkness, good vs evil, and the continuing battle between. For the video, we went for simplicity; there’s a ghost inside all of us. As people we can go through different stages of emotions and sometimes those emotions make us see in black and white, and while the song may be complicated, we wanted to accent that simplicity throughout in the imagery as well.” https://firefight.online/ https://www.facebook.com/FireFightOnline https://twitter.com/Fire_Fight

Final Coil are an English alternative rock act that combines grunge, progressive and metal to make their own unique sound. Having previously released two EP’s ‘Somnambulant’ in 2014 and ‘Closed to the Light’ the year after, 2017 finally marked the time of their full-length debut titled ‘Persistence Of Memory’. The opening song ‘Corruption’ is melodic and features resonant guitars and soaring vocals throughout. The overall feel is haunting and gloomy aided by the crushing riffs, making for a strong initial impact… ‘Dying’ has a different feel, being rather ethereal and smooth acting as a softer side to the band and therefore showing that they have more layers, especially as it is more subtle but still highly effective and one to let drift over you, whereas ‘Alone’ has more of a sinister undertone and features some brilliant rhythms and melodies. The colossal ‘Failed Light’ which is ten minutes long is a standout moment for the band as they get to do what they do best and in an ex...
