Thrash metal band, Headface from Brighton combine elements of doom and progressive death to their sound, making them not your average thrash band! In this interview they discuss their hiatus and what they have been upto, their formation and what to expect from their set at MammothFest in Brighton tomorrow!..Expect 'cool trainers' and 'pointy guitars'!... Firstly you have been on a hiatus, how is it to be back and what have you all been upto? We decided to work on some new stuff for a bit cos we hadn't really done that in around a year. MammothFest Stage Times & Extra Surprises!

New and final line-up poster The highly anticipated return of the mighty MammothFest in Brighton just keeps on delivering with the added bonuses and features of the festival, shaping it up to be a seriously crushing line-up and one heavy as hell event! The festival first stated there would be 22 smashing acts on the bill, but it kept creeping up and now they have just released that it is in fact 28 bands! The latest additions being Furyborn who replaced Aeolist and two brand new bands, Brighton rockers, Death Ape Disco and heavy metal, King Leviathan who also hail from Brighton rather fittingly, adding to the local talent! Okay so are we all ready and prepared to witness the massive event which will have a high impact on the Brighton Music scene and further?!..The only thing that remains is to be armed with the stage times of all the incredible bands, and you're in luck!.. The Deal Was For The Diamond Interview

Instrumental quartet from Brighton are back on the scene after taking some time out to focus on their sophomore album and they have landed a brilliant comeback show marking the bands first gig in a while, at MammothFest 2014 which as it happens is the return of the festival since its debut back in 2010! The band were lucky enough to be added to the line-up at the last minute, following Divine Chaos pulling out of the rebirth of the festival, so I asked them about their upcoming performance and what is in store with their new album and future plans .. So firstly how was it to be added to the MammothFest line-up at the last minute, especially seeing as this will be your first live comeback show in some time?! It fantastic to be asked to play especially after over a year off playing. We are so excited about joining the bands on the line up and feel privileged to be asked to step in .Last minute or not we want to come out fighting and try and compete with the bands around us,...

MammothFest final line-up change & Day Splits announced!

      With just three weeks to go now until the return of MammothFest in 2014 a final line-up change has been announced, as Aeolist had to pull out due to their drummer sustaining a broken hand, so Furyborn, a melodic death metal band from Dorset step up to to take their place and to tie in with this latest addition, the important matter of the day spilts have finally been unleashed also!
