SVALBARD release video for 'To Wilt Beneath The Weight' + touring the UK/Europe in March

  Svalbard are proud to release a video for their track 'To Wilt Beneath The Weight', taken from their breathtaking latest studio album The Weight Of The Mask. The track is a combative clincher to the record, acknowledging the dark reality of personal demons and the fight against them. The video beautifully captures Svalbard's highly-charged performance of the track at Cult Of Luna's Beyond The Redshift festival in London last year. To celebrate the release of The Weight Of The Mask, Svalbard recently announced a UK and European tour for March, with Norwegian psychedelic proggers Enslaved and American metal band Wayfarer. Svalbard's Serena Cherry commented, "We filmed this live video at The O2 Forum in London, which is the very same place that I saw one of my first ever metal shows! (It was Mudvayne!) Pink Floyd to release Collector's Edition of The Dark Side Of The Moon

  London, UK, 31 January: Pink Floyd will release a Collector’s Edition of The Dark Side Of The Moon on crystal clear vinyl. This will be a 2 x 180g single sided LP set, featuring UV artwork print on the non-groove side. Originally released over 50 years ago, and becoming one of the most iconic and influential albums ever, Pink Floyd’s ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ continues to find new audiences globally. The famous sleeve, which depicts a prism spectrum, was designed by Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis and drawn by George Hardie. ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ has sold over 50 million copies worldwide. This new edition of the album will feature the prism spectrum seen through the playable side of the vinyl whilst maintaining the best quality sound that fans will expect.   Bruce Dickinson has released his brand new single, ‘Rain On The Graves’, accompanied by a thrilling video introducing Bruce’s live band, comprising guitarist Roy Z, drummer Dave Moreno, bass-player Tanya O’Callaghan and keyboard maestro Mistheria. ‘Rain On The Graves’ is the second single to be taken from Bruce Dickinson’s forthcoming solo album The Mandrake Project which will be released on March 1st, via BMG.   Sal Abruscato , the former drummer of Type O Negative and current frontman of A PALE HORSE NAMED DEATH , has hinted at a new project that may excite fans of both bands. In a recent statement, Abruscato suggested that something new may be brewing over at the King Of The Locusts camp. While the details are still unclear, Abruscato 's history with both A Pale Horse Named Death and Type O Negative suggests that the project could draw heavily from the dark, gothic soundscapes of both bands.
