ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL Announces another wave of bands

  The much loved and award winning ARCTANGENT Festival returns this summer in August, and can today reveal another host of amazing acts for the event. Starting off with huge ATG fans favourite, the Leicester born, instrumental post rock band Maybeshewill, critically acclaimed Scottish and American mathcore band Frontierer, and recently reformed Welsh post hardcore band Mclusky (who are releasing their new album 'The World Is Still Here and So Are We' in May through Mike Patton's Ipecac label). Joining them in this announcement and in August are Irish post-rock (with a side order of electronics) from County Wicklow, God Is An Astronaut (as an exclusive UK show), hugely exciting (and recent Kerrang! cover stars) Atlanta Georgia sextet The Callous Daoboys (as a UK exclusive festival show), and a few HUGE silent disco sets from Nordic Giants, AK/DK, Yard and JOHN CXNNOR (performing an exclusive Doom Rave DJ-set). ARCTANGENT Festival announces over 50 more bands

  Following on from last years incredible and sold out (and probably best so far) 10th Anniversary event, the much loved and mighty award winning ARCTANGENT Festival returns this summer, and can today reveal another host of amazing acts for the event. To kick things off we have TWO more headliners for the festival. Firstly playing their first ever ATG are Norwegian band Wardruna, who will be bringing their Norse musical interpretations and traditions to the festival as our Wednesday night headliners. With this incredible band now in place, the Wednesday for this years Arctangent Festival will be its biggest ever, with more stages open to accomodate, but still no clashes! Then we have the brilliant UK prog rock band Tesseract, who will be returning to ATG and headlining the main stage on the Saturday this year, closing out an intense two year touring period of their album 'War Of Being'. ARCTANGENT Festival 2025 - First headliner and bands announcement

Taking place on the 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th of August 2025, tickets for the event are on sale now, and available from - HERE The first 2025 main stage headliner comes in the shape of the phenomenal Australian progressive metal band Karnivool, who will be making their ARCTANGENT Festival debut in 2025, as well as perform there as a 2025 UK exclusive show. ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL Announces more bands for 2024 event

  In its 10th year this summer, the brilliant and award winning ArcTanGent Festival has once again well and truly delivered for its loyal, amazing audience. Following on from last months HUGE band announcement, today the summer event can reveal its final collection of acts playing in 2024. Heading up this announcement are one of the worlds greatest heavy bands to ever do it, the stunning Savannah Georgia 4 piece Baroness, who will be playing ARCTANGENT for the very first time. ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL 2024 Huge line up announcement!

  To help celebrate the 10th year (THE TENTH YEAR!) of the mighty ArcTanGent Festival in 2024, todays band announcement is very likely it's biggest ever band announcement in its history. Yes, it is a biggie, and yes it will make you all very happy. Announced for this years event are the world renowned, globally acclaimed Scottish post rock band Mogwai, who play the festival for the very first time.   In 2024, the mighty ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL will be celebrating its TENTH year, and today can reveal its first wave of bands for the event next summer, August 2024. Taking place near Bristol between the 14th August and the 17th August, ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL has once again been shortlisted for Best Medium Festival at the Festival Awards (it won best small festival in 2018), and continues to bring together some of the most interesting, diverse, exciting and eclectic bills for any festival, anywhere in the world.   The brilliant ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL 2023 can today announce their next round of bands for this years event, following on from last years ATG Advent Calendar announcement week that happened in December 2022. The festival will be taking place between August 16th through to August 19th, at Fernhill Farm, a short drive from Bristol City Centre.   So here we go, the first full band announcement from team ARCTANGENT Festival 2023 is here, and it is a thing of wonder. With over 50 bands announced, the ball is well and truly rolling on next years event. To kick things off ATG has the UK festival exclusive of the mighty Deafheaven performing 'Sunbather' in full, the bands seminal, black metal modern classic from 2013. ARCTANGENT Festival 2023 announces first bands

  With the beautiful sunshine weekend that was ARCTANGENT Festival 2022 still very much lodged in the recent memory banks (and lauded by The Guardian in their 5/ review HERE ), the first bands for the 2023 event can now be announced, all for the Wednesday. The 4 day event will be taking place next year between the 16th and 20th August, with the Wednesday 16th being a limited entry for 4 day ticket holders only - and these always sell out VERY much in advance. All of these bands are returning to ATG following on from their stellar 2022 sets, and are a mixture of the very new to the more established fan favourites.   Arctangent Festival 2022 is edging closer with Opeth, Cult Of Luna and TesseracT headlining the festival, its first time back since 2019. Whilst a few bands have had to pull out, they are very happy to add in Scalping / Famyne / Outlander / Sergeant Thunderhoof / Cryptic Shift / Ogives Big Band to the weekend. Arctangent Festival has announced its clash finders, new site map and for the first time that there will be an added party night on Wednesday 17th with Silent Disco taking place at the Elephant in the Bar Room stage once the bands finish.
