“Ah-ha-ha. Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated? Good night.” Sex Pistols fans will finally be able to judge for themselves with the release for the first time of three full live albums from the band’s legendary 1978 US tour. This year will see the San Francisco show and performances in Atlanta (South East Music, 5th January 1978) and Dallas (Longhorns Ballroom, 10th January 1978) given special edition coloured vinyl releases before all three are made available in a three-CD set and for digital download. Even had the band not imploded soon afterwards, the tour would still have had a place in rock and roll history, the band’s reputation preceding it across America’s conservative heartlands. John Rotten (aka Lydon), Paul Cook, Steve Jones and Sid Vicious were sent into venu...

Sex Pistols Announce 'PRETTY VACANT' Limited Edition 7” Vinyl

Sex Pistols are making their 3rd single available in coloured vinyl for the first time, another limited edition classic. Released on the 2 July 1977, in the post ‘God Save The Queen’ fall out, the band were careering toward their all time great album ‘Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols’, also released that year. Along the way, Pretty Vacant came screaming into life, with its iconic primal lyrics of national frustration - “We’re so pretty, oh so pretty, we’re vacant!” Deservedly a smash hit, it also brought the band onto Top Of The Pops for the first time, finally presenting their incendiary performance and music to the mass of British public. The B-Side is one of the Pistols’ great covers, ‘No Fun’ originally by The Stooges, perfectly complimenting the late 1970s frustration and malaise especially felt by young people in Britain. After the 4576 copy limited release of ‘Anarchy in The UK,’ ‘Pretty Vacant’ will match the 4577 physical records available for ‘Holidays ...

Sex Pistols Announce 'HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN' Limited Edition 7”

Sex Pistols are making their 4th single available in coloured vinyl for the first time, another limited edition classic. Further establishing their legendary status, the band's 4th single ‘Holidays In The Sun’, released on October, 14, 1977, climbed the charts to #8 and was the single used to promote their studio album, Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols. It was inspired by an aborted trip to Jersey to find some sun and fun, an attempt to escape the drudgery and animosity they experienced in London. After the 4576 copy limited release of ‘Anarchy in The UK,’ this single sees a small run of just 4577 physical records available for collectors. Following the success of the ‘God Save The Queen’ 7” vinyl releases in 2022 (which is the top selling physical single of the year and finally took the track to Number 1 on the Official Vinyl Singles Chart, 45 years to the day after it was kept off the top spot), the band’s other key singles from 76/77 will be revisited, with more...

Sex Pistols are making their debut single available in coloured vinyl for the first time, a limited edition classic for collectors.
