TAKEDOWN FESTIVAL postponed until 2025

  After careful consideration, the organisers of Takedown Festival regret to announce the postponement of this year’s festival which was due to take place at Portsmouth Guildhall on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th April. Building works currently being undertaken at the Grade II listed venue to transform the basement of Portsmouth Guildhall into one of the most innovative creative spaces for young people in the country, have now been extended across the festival dates resulting in the loss of two key areas of the festival site and a reduction in capacity, which combined with challenging trading conditions have sadly left the event unviable for this year. Takedown Festival will return in 2025 with, it is hoped, much of this year’s line-up carried forward. Further details will be announced soon but in the meantime all ticket holders will be refunded by their point of purchase. ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL Announces more bands for 2024 event

  In its 10th year this summer, the brilliant and award winning ArcTanGent Festival has once again well and truly delivered for its loyal, amazing audience. Following on from last months HUGE band announcement, today the summer event can reveal its final collection of acts playing in 2024. Heading up this announcement are one of the worlds greatest heavy bands to ever do it, the stunning Savannah Georgia 4 piece Baroness, who will be playing ARCTANGENT for the very first time. FORTRESS FESTIVAL adds ANTE-INFERNO & ANDRACCA

  UK black metal bands Ante-Inferno and Andracca are the latest additions to Fortress Festival, which will take place on 1-2 June 2024 at Scarborough Spa in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, UK. The announcement comes as Andracca have released their second full-length album “To Bare the Weight of Death” via Vendetta Records in January 2024, while Ante-Inferno are gearing for a new, third album release and more UK/European tour dates. Ante-Inferno’s latest album “Antediluvian Dreamscapes” was released in 2022 via Vendetta Records to critical acclaim. GRASPOP Festival Adds 88 Bands To 2024 Line-up

  Following the announcement of our final headliner Alice Cooper this morning, we are adding 84 new names to the line-up of the 27th edition of Graspop Metal Meeting. Bruce Dickinson, Corey Taylor, Deep Purple, Electric Callboy and Megadeth as well as 130+ other bands will pull out all the stops from Thursday 20 June through Sunday 23 June 2024 at Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Belgium.   Headliners for Sunday 23 June 2024. With Scorpions and Machine Head we are adding the headliners for Sunday to the line-up of #GMM24. Together with Tool, Five Finger Death Punch, Judas Priest, Bring Me the Horizon and Avenged Sevenfold they will lay siege to Dessel in June 2024. Bring Me The Horizon and Avenged Sevenfold confirmed for GRASPOP 2024

  So far our headliner tally for #GMM24 stood at three with Tool, Five Finger Death Punch and Judas Priest. Now we are adding another two titans to the 2024 line-up with Bring Me the Horizon and Avenged Sevenfold. On Saturday, Bring Me the Horizon will close out proceedings on the South Stage whereas Avenged Sevenfold will do the same on the North Stage.   ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL can announce its first 2024 main stage headliner in the shape of the brilliant Meshuggah, who will headline on the Friday night. Also announced today, and joining them on the main stage on Friday night (playing just before them) are the incredible Animals As Leaders. These shows are UK (Meshuggah) and EU (AAL) exclusive to ATG for 2024.
