Following the success of this year’s Mammothfest in October it has since been nominated for three festival awards, including the UK Festival Awards in two categories, Best Metropolitan and Best Small Festival 2016 as well as the TBFM Best Independent Festival 2016 . The winners are yet to be announced so watch this space! It’s no surprise the festival has got people’s attention, as this year marked the biggest event yet, with higher capacity venues and well known bands, Textures, Venom Inc and Conan headlining, amongst the many other underground and rising stars of rock and metal that took to the stage across popular Brighton venues over one mighty weekend, and for its efforts it was almost an complete sell out! THE MAMMOTH RETURNS!! T he UK metal community revels in delight after it’s brightest rising star in the independent festival market makes it’s opening announcements for their next event, MAMMOTHFEST 2016. The 3 day indoor festival, based in Brighton has revealed ALL its 2016 headliners and has opened up sales for a limited quantity of Early Bird tickets (including accommodation options!!!). The festival kicks off it's announcements by revealing Dutch Prog Metal Maniacs, Textures will headline the opening night held at THE HAUNT, Friday 30th September. Following on from the success of this year's Mammothfest back in August, which featured headliners, Savage Messiah and Martyr Defiled along with support from Meta-Stasis, Ingested, Abhorrent Decimation, Mask Of Judas, Collisions, No Sin Evades His Gaze and many many more mighty metal offerings, comes news about the next epic Mammothfest 2015 which is massive in comparison to this year's event, as it will be held over 3 days at 3 venues due to overwhelming support!
