Mannequin are a recently formed extreme metal duo from the North-East of England, consisting of Benjó James (vocals) and Jack Wilson (guitars) who manage to create a hell of a loud high impact sound!.. 'Harpy Doll' taken from their first EP 'From January to Funeral March' is quite something, largely sounding bleak, dark and brutal but with glimpses of hope, shown through the melodic flurries, which strike hard, especially as it's unexpected, but works wonderfully in this brutal relentless track!
