DEAD EYED CREEK Release Debut Video "Set Me Free" Featuring Actress Ruby Modine

European rock act DEAD EYED CREEK, featuring former members of Satyricon and Triptykon, have released their debut music video for "Set Me Free," featuring American actress Ruby Modine. In the fall of 2019, before anyone expected a global pandemic, Dutch guitarist Job Bos (Dark Fortress, The Ruins of Beverast, ex-Satyricon) approached longtime friend and drummer Norman Lonhard (ex-Triptykon) with the idea of creating music together. The duo soon recruited Icelandic vocalist Einer Vilberg, notable for being one of the finalists in Stone Temple Pilot's vocalist search in 2016, and bassist Max Blox, who proved to be the right fit on both a musical and personal level. “I’ve been working with music for over half of my life. This time I felt the need to go far back to my roots, and play the kind of music I grew up with," says Bos. "I never really played guitar, but I had all these ideas in my head, so the only way to realize these ideas was to pick up a guitar and st...

SATYRICON SIGNS WITH NAPALM RECORDS FOR RELEASE OF SPECTACULAR LIVE DVD!‏

Norwegian Black Metal legends SATYRICON have signed a worldwide deal with Austrian metal label Napalm Records for release of their upcoming DVD Live At The Opera ! Mastermind Satyr about the story behind Live At The Opera : “ The whole thing started with us doing one song, “To The Mountains” a year and a half before the actual show. We performed at a closed event in the main hall of the opera with the Royal Norwegian Opera Chorus. It was very inspirational. I then said to the conductor that I would love to do a whole show like this. He loved the idea, I was serious about it, and he was serious about it. We spent approximately one and a half year working with composer and arranger Kjetil Bjerkestrand on the choral arrangements. When I picked songs, I was not necessarily looking at only songs suitable for choral arrangements or typical in the Satyricon live set. For me, it had to be a combination. If you look at songs like “Die By My Hand”, it`s pretty obvious we`ll want to us...
