Stone Circle Crowdfunding For New EP!

Stone Circle announces crowdfunding campaign to record EP in 2016 Progressive metal band Stone Circle (UK) has set up a crowdfunding campaign to aid their next recording, to be done at Bandit Studios (with producer Jonny Renshaw - guitarist for Devil Sold His Soul, ex Mahumodo). The EP will be their 5th release to date and Stone Circle are calling on fans to help contribute towards the recording, including limited edition signed copies of the EP upon its release on pre-order. Stone Circle - Self Titled Album Review

Intelligible progressive metallers from Brighton release their sophomore self-titled album through Terrorizer magazine, which can be picked up for free with the latest issue, as well as being available through the usual music outlets, such as Spotify, iTunes and Google Store. Although on the face of it, seven songs doesn’t seem much, believe me when I say they cram a lot in to each and every song, in the best way possible!.. Opening song `Beekeeper’ chugs to life with demonic vocals, intricate dynamic guitars and a hell of a lot of ethereal atmospheric vibes – you could say this is a ‘buzz’ worthy opening that will take you through a musical exploration and will leave a ‘sting’, especially with the shift half way through taking a more darker turn, as well introducing powerful clean vocals which help give more depth and emphasis. MammothFest 2014 Surprise Announcements - 2 extra acts added!

    Brighton's heavyweight intense festival, MammothFest has today released some new announcements, including a shock surprise of two extra acts, to what was meant to be a full bill! (see full line up above). The two extra acts are Acoustic duo Tom & Ash and Acoustic virtuoso Sean De Burca who will perform as part of the weekend. Organiser Steve Dickson was so impressed by them both at recent shows that he walked up onstage to offer them spots as soon as they finished their gigs! That is quite a compliment and means attending festival goers are in for an even more epic time! (See links and video below to check out new acts added!) New Song from Progressive Metallers Stone Circle!

Progressive Metal band from Brighton, Stone Circle are back and mean business! Check out their new offical lyric video for new song, 'Easter Island' taken from upcoming album. The lyric video was created by Bassist, James Pearce so praise where its due! The band are looking to make a huge impact with their return so are currently on tour now which is sponsored by the mighty return also of Brighton's only dedicated metal festival, MammothFest! Of course Stone Circle are playing at the main festival which takes place on the 30-31st August. Stone Circle have the honour of being on the MammothFest line-up again following their successful slot at the first ever MammothFest back in 2010! So this marks a great return all round! MammothFest Sponsored Tours - Stone Circle (starts 5th July 2014)

      Stone Circle formed in 2004 with Joe Ashwin (Lead Guitar/Vocals), James Pearce (Bass) & Sam Hill (drums), the lineup was then completed when Tom Skelton (Rhythm Guitars) joined in 2005. Over this time the band developed their sound into the progressive metal that they play today, inspired by Opeth, Katatonia, Morbid Angel, Gojira, Amorphis and more.   The band are back to play round two of the return of MammothFest having played at the first one back in 2010 and they went down a storm with their epic progressive metal, so are not to be missed this time round!   If you can't wait to see them at the main festival you can luckily also catch them on their our tour which is sponsored by MammothFest. MammothFest Warm Up Shows/Sponsored Tours!

With one of the heaviest line-ups announced for Mammothfest’s return to Brighton for 2014 to tide you over until the main epic event there are a series of awesome live warm up shows in the run up the main festival taking place on August 30th and 31st ! This weekend ( Sunday 6th July  - see above) sees possibly the biggest and mightiest of the warm up shows as it includes a partnership with friends UK Tech Fest, who are working with Mammothfest to bring No Consequence, Felix Martin, Drewsif Stalin’s Musical Endeavours, DispersE, Friend For A Foe, Aeolist, Core of iO, Stone Circle and Valis Ablaze to an epic all day event at Mammothfest’s venue, The Green Door Store, on Sunday 6th July, so this really is a true taste of what lies ahead for the big event!
