  Kreator is currently touring with Lamb Of God as support, but they managed to slot in two UK headline shows, one in Leeds and the other in Brighton on the 11th of March, which I was fortunate to attend. To make the occasion even more unique, this was the first time the German Thrash veterans have played in Brighton, and to top it off, they played a special deep cuts set list, especially for these two shows. The CHALK venue is a small intimate venue; you wouldn’t expect a band of their calibre to play here, which added to the rare thrash metal spectacle. They kicked off with the mighty title track of their latest album ‘Hate Über Alles’ which was released last year, and went on to deliver a colossal set that spanned their career, firing off hit after hit with ‘Hail To The Hordes’, the momentous ‘Satan Is Real’ both taken from their revered fourteenth album, 2017s’ Gods Of Violence, followed by the blazing ‘Hordes Of Chaos’.   Thrash metal veteran Christian "Speesy" Giesler (formerly Kreator) joins forces with supergroup BONDED. Bernemann Kost (Sodom, Bonded) adds: "We've been talking about making music together since the "Hell comes to your town" tour in 2001/2002. It just took us a little longer to realize our plans than usual hahaha.....we were both so involved with our jobs at Kreator and Sodom that we never found the time, but we always stayed in touch over the years. If Speesy hadn't still been with Kreator in January 2018, he would have been our first choice for Bonded, but due to the intensive Kreator tours it was out of the question. That's why we were very happy about his collaboration on the song "Rest in Violence" together with Bobby Ellsworth.   We live in a world filled with metal bands, so enter: FORE. Formed last spring and featuring current and former members of KREATOR, VENOM INC, INHUMAN CONDITION, OLD JAMES, and THE ABSENCE, the quartet self-released their first album “Hombres” in August of 2020. The band’s 12-song, 22-minute debut album brought back the sounds of 80s/early 90s hardcore, nodding to bands like Bad Religion, The Offspring, NOFX, and Pennywise in 12 songs, totalling 22 minutes. Today, the band releases a brand new song called “Repeated Subtraction”, with an accompanying music video, which can be viewed below.
