SVALBARD announces farewell UK tour dates

Svalbard have released an important, heart-wrenching statement for their fans: After much reflection, we have decided that 2026 will be the final year of Svalbard. Our final UK tour will be in November 2025. Following that, we plan to do a final EU tour, a final Japanese tour and a few more select farewell shows in 2026. Thank you to everyone who has supported us during our 15 years as a band. Your support has meant the world to us. We've shared so many unforgettable moments with you all throughout our career, and we look forward to commemorating our final year as a band with you in 2026. SVALBARD release video for 'To Wilt Beneath The Weight' + touring the UK/Europe in March

  Svalbard are proud to release a video for their track 'To Wilt Beneath The Weight', taken from their breathtaking latest studio album The Weight Of The Mask. The track is a combative clincher to the record, acknowledging the dark reality of personal demons and the fight against them. The video beautifully captures Svalbard's highly-charged performance of the track at Cult Of Luna's Beyond The Redshift festival in London last year. To celebrate the release of The Weight Of The Mask, Svalbard recently announced a UK and European tour for March, with Norwegian psychedelic proggers Enslaved and American metal band Wayfarer. Svalbard's Serena Cherry commented, "We filmed this live video at The O2 Forum in London, which is the very same place that I saw one of my first ever metal shows! (It was Mudvayne!)   So here we go, the first full band announcement from team ARCTANGENT Festival 2023 is here, and it is a thing of wonder. With over 50 bands announced, the ball is well and truly rolling on next years event. To kick things off ATG has the UK festival exclusive of the mighty Deafheaven performing 'Sunbather' in full, the bands seminal, black metal modern classic from 2013.
