Newcastle Upon Tyne Alternative Post-Hardcore band ‘headcage’ are today proud to share their brand new single ‘nothing’. With influences that lie within the early noughties post-hardcore, emo & metal brackets, ‘headcage’ have blended riff-based grooves with colossal, melodic vocal crooning to create their new single ‘nothing’. It’s a track that encapsulates everything headcage stands for. “Lyrically the song details the struggle to overcome the feeling of uselessness and the everyday battles that come alongside living with ADHD and Anxiety. I wanted to state in layman’s terms the difficulty that I face to remain persistent or disciplined in many aspects of my life. The song itself acts as catharsis, a real and true personal expression of the negative aspects of these conditions that I have to face everyday”. - Vocalist - Leyum Pattinson Watch the official music video below: Having premiered on BBC Radio 1 by Alyx Holcombe earlier this week who said “It slaps so hard”, ‘nothing’

But, it was so catchy, and had so many cool tones and textures we wanted to save it for this moment and really show a different emotion and feel from the rest of the album. The song inspired us to throwback to some of the music videos we grew up with, and it’s one of the most fun videos we’ve ever done. I think it captures the feel of the music perfectly

"'Take Cover' is all about themes of perseverance and survival in uncertain times. We started writing these songs in 2020. As bleak as things were then, there was a feeling that maybe, just maybe we could rebuild and reorganise society in a way that would benefit everyone in a fairer way when we emerged. That quickly went out the window and for a lot of people, life is just as desperate as it was then. So lyrically a lot of these songs are underpinned by a sense of frus

It follows the bands debut album ‘Between Me and The Machine’ and sets out a new era for RESOLVE with a relentless touring schedule ahead. "Death Awaits is a creed. Down the line, we all end up the same, and that is something we should embrace and not fear. But while death is - at least in our society, often perceived as something sad and solemn, our track is the opposite: upbeat and ferocious with an hopeful chorus. Creating the music video for this song was the most fun we’ve had in ages: we gathered around a hundred fans and friends and celebrated our love for life the only way we know how: beating our skulls to the sound of music together. We especially cannot wait to play this track live on our upcoming tour starting next week!” - Bassist, Robin Mariat. Watch the official music video: ‘Death Awaits’ is re

The song has premiered on Sirius Octane. Lyrics: It’s tragic how we wound up this way. They mortgaged the future for a seat at the table with a plateful of shameful mistakes they’ll swallow. Addicted to the game that they play like a dope sick user who just keeps coming clean and then leaving the scene no sorrow. We can’t get any higher We’ve been screaming from the nosebleeds far too long. You should know I’m a fighter. Mama raised me on crazy ‘n coke…not
