TRIPTYKON & WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM exclusive sets among latest additions to FORTRESS FESTIVAL line-up

  Scarborough, UK; 31.10.23: Fortress Festival has revealed ten more bands set to perform at the event, which promises to be the biggest and loudest black metal event in the UK in June 2024. Set to take place at the iconic Scarborough Spa in North Yorkshire, the festival has unveiled its two main stage headliners - Triptykon and Wolves in the Throne Room - and one of the second stage headliners: Regarde Les Hommes Tomber. Performances from Triptykon and Regarde Les Hommes Tomber will be UK exclusive shows for 2024 whereas Wolves in the Throne Room will present a 2024 UK exclusive “Two Hunters” set - this will be the first time the iconic album will be performed live in the UK. BLOODSTOCK reveal TRIPTYKON performing CELTIC FROST

  Following on from the bonanza 15-band announcement earlier this week, BLOODSTOCK has some more news to share about 2023's event. In these rapidly changing times, unfortunately Saturday's special guest Anthrax have pulled out of their slot. With regret, the band have issued a brief statement saying, “Due to logistical issues beyond our control Anthrax will no longer be appearing at Bloodstock 2023." Anthrax leave some big boots to fill but BLOODSTOCK is confident that their replacement is more than up to the task. Joining the 2023 line-up as Saturday's special guests on the Ronnie James Dio main stage, will be the iconic metal pioneers, TRIPTYKON . DEAD EYED CREEK Release Debut Video "Set Me Free" Featuring Actress Ruby Modine

  European rock act DEAD EYED CREEK, featuring former members of Satyricon and Triptykon, have released their debut music video for "Set Me Free," featuring American actress Ruby Modine. In the fall of 2019, before anyone expected a global pandemic, Dutch guitarist Job Bos (Dark Fortress, The Ruins of Beverast, ex-Satyricon) approached longtime friend and drummer Norman Lonhard (ex-Triptykon) with the idea of creating music together. The duo soon recruited Icelandic vocalist Einer Vilberg, notable for being one of the finalists in Stone Temple Pilot's vocalist search in 2016, and bassist Max Blox, who proved to be the right fit on both a musical and personal level. “I’ve been working with music for over half of my life.
