Listen to the new songs below: Additionally, “The Sacrifice” and “At Sickness” will be released October 18th as a limited edition 7” vinyl in two variants, available exclusively via alkalinetrio.com and RiseRecords.com . Guitarist/vocalist Matt Skiba commented: "We are very excited to be releasing these two songs as a seven inch. Putting out an EP on 7” vinyl is something we haven’t had the opportunity to do for a long time, so having two new songs to offer up on such a classic format is fun for us as vinyl enthusiasts. Both 'At Sickness' and 'The Sacrifice' were initially written and recorded for our Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs album and leaving them off the record wasn’t ...

SUM 41 Announce Final Double Album 'Heaven :x: Hell' & release new single 'Rise Up'

For the final time as a collective, Grammy-nominated band Sum 41 have announced their upcoming double album, Heaven :x: Hell, expected for release on 29th March, 2024 via Rise Records. Heaven :x: Hell is the most ambitious album from Sum 41 yet - Heaven is 10 tracks of snarling high energy pop punk, while Hell consists of ten heavy metal anthems spiked with fret-burning solos, thrashing riffs, and fist-pumping hooks. The band has been straddling the line of pop-punk and metal for their entire career, and Heaven :x: Hell is a testament to their innovative sound and unmatched skill, proving them as pioneers 27 years after the bands inception. Heaven :x: Hell is available to pre-save and pre-order now at https://sum41.lnk.to/HeavenHell On the new album, vocalist Deryck Whibley says, “Once I heard the music, I was confident enough to say, ‘This is the record I’d like to go out on.’ We’ve made a double album of pop punk and metal, and it makes sense. It took a long time for us to pav...

Alkaline Trio Release New Single "Bad Time"

Alkaline Trio serves up another helping of Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs in the form of “Bad Time,” the darkly melodic second track to be released from their 10th album, due January 26th, 2024 on Rise Records. “Bad Time” follows last month’s unveiling of the album’s frenetic title track — hailed by Consequence for its “fresh approach” and by Brooklyn Vegan as "classic Alkaline Trio… their grim yet catchy punk sounds as unmistakable as ever” — with a more subdued yet no less intense vibe. This makes perfect sense, as the lyrics find Trio guitarist/vocalist Matt Skiba finding the eyes of multiple storms in the form of the same friend’s voice: “‘Bad Time' was initially inspired by a friend and crush who happened to call me while I was on tour in El Paso, Texas as an active shooter situation was happening just across from where we were staying. We could hear gunshots and sirens as the situation escalated. My friend asked if it was a bad time to talk, and I said no — I really wanted ...

SUM 41 RELEASE NEW SINGLE/VIDEO "LANDMINES"

Ontario, Canada- Grammy nominated band Sum 41 make a boisterous return with “Landmines”, their newest single and first release on Rise Records. “Landmines” is a testament of going to hell and back for the ones that matter – vocalist Deryck Whibley paints a picture of dodging shrapnel and smoke, but valiantly holding on to the ones you love. The chorus is an instant crowd-pleaser with anthemic chants that pull a room together, glued by drum fills that shake the ground as hard as the metaphorical landmines. The track is paired alongside a brand new music video that finds the band transforming prom from the class of 1998 into a raucous rock show-turned-foodfight, thrusting Sum 41 and their fans back to the early days of their career. Although Sum 41 may have announced the impending closing of their chapter, “Landmines” proves that the pop punk legends are going out with a bang. "When I wrote Landmines I had no intention of writing an old school “pop punk” song. It just came out rea...

FLOGGING MOLLY RELEASE NEW SONG + UK TOUR IN AUGUST

Flogging Molly, who recently announced the impending release of their first new album in five years, Anthem (9th September via Rise Records), have previewed a new track from the 11-song collection, releasing “This Road of Mine”. A nod to the band’s, and particularly singer/guitar player Dave King’s, unique history, “This Road of Mine” is, as King says, about taking your own path: “we’ve always done things the way we want to do it.” Plucked from obscurity, and the hopelessness of Dublin’s Tenement Row, King was hand-picked by Motörhead’s “Fast” Eddie Clarke in 1983 for Clarke’s new band, Fastway. King has often shared the ups and downs he experienced in the years that followed. With Fastway imploding in the wake of grunge, King was free to create his own vision, but along the way he spent days scrubbing toilets and painting houses as he performed nearly nightly at the Los Angeles club, and Flogging Molly’s namesake, Molly Malone’s. Now, 25 years later, the band’s unique concocti...

PVRIS - White Noise Deluxe Album Out Now! Featuring 2 New songs!

PVRIS are a fast and forever rising American trio from Massachusetts. They released their highly successful debut, 'White Noise' in 2014, and are still reaping the benefits and soaring to greater heights with it! They decided to release a deluxe version of their dark electro cinematic rock sound, out now (released 22nd April 2016), which luckily for us includes new song, 'Empty', which is hugely ambient and atmospheric, with Lynn's characteristic powerhouse vocals, leaving a lasting impression, and a stunning stripped down version of new single, 'You And I' , which differs greatly from the original, but is equally powerful and impressive, having a seriously emotive, beautiful and haunting raw sound.  They are certainly in the spotlight right now, having recently supported Fall Out Boy in the US in February/March 2016, they then embarked on their first ever headline UK tour which started and finished this month, which went down a storm , with many a ...
