Dunes: guitarist Frank Iero, guitarist Travis Stever, vocalist Anthony Green, bassist Tim Payne, and drummer Tucker Rule have announced two special Southern California club dates this spring: 8th April at Pappy + Harriet’s in Pioneertown, CA and 9th April at 1720 Club in downtown Los Angeles. The celebrated hardcore punk band has also shared a brand-new video for "Past Lives," the title track of their acclaimed debut album, Past Lives , released late last year via Fantasy. The blistering live video features footage captured during L.S. Dunes’ triumphant sold-out North American tour in November/December of 2022.   Florida-based rock revivalists Umbilicus have begun their first rehearsals for their recently announced shows on February 23, 24, 25 in Orlando, Miami, and Tampa, respectively. The quartet, made up of death metal musicians Paul Mazurkiewicz (Cannibal Corpse, Heaven’s Gate) on drums, Taylor Nordberg (Deicide, Inhuman Condition) on guitar, Vernon Blake (Anarchus) on bass, and Brian Stephenson (FORE) on vocals, will be sharing the stage with rock band King Buffalo for 3 dates in Florida on their current tour. From day one, David was Born To Fly !! With The Dead Daisies about to wing their way to the UK on their Winter Tour in December, the single ‘Born To Fly’ is set to take off today… The inspiration for the song was guitarist David Lowy’s love of flying. From playing with a little balsa wood glider at the age of five to flying in a BAE Hawk, he was motivated to get his pilot’s licence and to one day own a jet fighter. He spent his holidays learning to fly and after seeing the Sydney Aerobatic Club, he set his sights on becoming an Australian Aerobatic Champion and achieved that goal in 1998. David would later acquire and learn to fly Spitfires and Vietnam War-era A37B Dragonfly light attack jets, which would lead to a host of other Warbird aircraft acquisitions. In 1999 he established the Temora Aviation Museum in New South Wales, Australia.   Instrumental trio The Aristocrats are to return to the UK and Ireland in June 2023 for a 7-date run of shows, including their biggest London show to date at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Not only will Guthrie Govan (Hans Zimmer, Asia, Steven Wilson), Bryan Beller (Joe Satriani, Dethklok, Steve Vai), and Marco Minneman (Plini, Joe Satriani, Steven Wilson) be playing their first UK and Irish shows in a number years, they will also be playing a selection of new as yet unreleased material, in addition to highlights and fan favourites.
