PRIDE ROCK FESTIVAL - LINE-UP ANNOUNCEMENT

  Following on from the last two successful events across 2023 & 2024, White Lightning PR is proud to announce the return of Brighton & Hove Pride’s Pride Rock Festival taking place this summer August 1 at Chalk. The all inclusive event originated from a desire to represent musical diversity at Brighton Pride, and showcase rock/alt talents to support the LGBTQ+ community. Tickets are on sale now HERE . Headlining the event is Sophie Lloyd with main support coming from Bex, the final support will be announced at a later date.   Powerful metal crew, SYPHA, continue to rise, the band have just released their explosive new EP, Borderland, and a visualiser video for the track, 'The Afterparty'.   Brighton based Electronic Post-Hardcore duo fakeyourdeath have today released their debut EP ‘null/void’. The Undaunted Release Music Video For 'R.I.P.'

  Brighton-based, four-piece electronic metal band, The Undaunted released their latest single, 'R.I.P.' in June 2023, and now they have unleashed an exciting video to go with the song which we previously reviewed, stating: "R.I.P. is a blast! It is manic and infectiously catchy, with explosive synth melodies and crushing vocals, and demands multiple listens as it hooks you in." THE UNDAUNTED are a Brighton-based, four-piece electronic metal band that take inspiration across a variety of genres (drum n bass, dubstep, punk and metal) to fuse their own creation of 'loud, angry music for an unbalanced society' with their debut track, 'Chihuahua', smashing through over 7K spotify streams and their second release, 'Intoxicated', reaching over 2K. The Undaunted Release Debut Single/Video For ‘Chihuahua’

  New Brighton-based act The Undaunted have concocted a unique sound best described as Dubstep Punk Metal, mixing drum and bass, punk and metal. It makes for a thrilling and intriguing listen, which their debut melodic electrifying single 'Chihuahua' asserts.  Check out the video for  'Chihuahua'   below: The band comprises ex-members of Breed 77, Collisions and Munny Torx with Andrew Trewin on guitars/programming, Alex Marcou (Holotype) on synths/programming, Oc Preciado on vocals and Adam Lewis on drums. With just one song out, they have made quite an impact with their bizarre and enticing elements but fortunately, we can hear more of this hybrid sound soon as they release their second single on 16th December 2022. Vehement To Release Sophomore Album 'Ashes' 6th October At Mammothfest 2017

Vehement sophomore album 'Ashes'; Unveiled at Mammothfest 2017 Brighton based extreme metal quartet Vehement release their sophomore album 'Ashes' on October 6th via Infernum Records, the same day that Vehement will open Mammothfest, sharing the stage with black metal icons, Rotting Christ and Tsjuder. Vehement have been climbing upwards through the ranks of the metal scene in the United Kingdom for several years now, and since the release of their debut album 'Collapse' in 2013, the band have gone on to play notable events such as Bloodstock Open Air and Incineration Fest. Recently announced as the second signing to Infernum Records (home to fellow Brightonians King Leviathan) they are poised to unleash their second full-length offering upon the world. Festival Preview: Mammothfest UK - Upcoming Acts To Watch!

Mammothfest is just two and a half weeks away now! The Brighton festival is back yet again, but this year it is all happening at their new home under one roof at The Arch venue, located on the seafront which boasts two stages for the three-day mental weekend that is taking place on the 6-8th October.  The line-up is immense and impressively features all three headliners as UK exclusives with Rotting Christ, Fleshgod Apocalypse, and Amenra as well as a UK exclusive set from Norwegian Black metallers Tsjuder. Other heavyweight acts on the bill include Dragged Into Sunlight, Akercoke, Vodun, Lawnmower Deth, Meta-stasis and more, which surely are all bands you will want to be checking out, but to help you plan your itinerary for the festival weekend further, here is a list of a few upcoming bands that you should be checking out at the festival also!
