Since their inception, ANTI-CLONE has established themselves as a relentless force in the metal...

Diving deeper on the inspiration behind some particularly visceral lyrical content, Joe reflects that “I wanted to bring those captivating elements of Crowley's beliefs very much to the forefront. Let’s be honest, there’s always a perverse intrigue into the less family friendly practices of the occult, those that address sexuality and attempts to talk a higher power as we do in LIMINAL.” For the first time ever ‘Liminal’ sees Arimea exploring both female a...

Dead Velvet Stare Death In The Eye In Heavy Music Video For “Lonely Wreck”

Montreal’s Dead Velvet has a second single coming out, following on the heels of their well-received debut single “The Dogs”. This new single “Lonely Wreck” and its music video will be premiered on The Circle Pit. According to the band, “Lonely Wreck” is more or less a song about being the last man standing at a party, and also the impact that the abuse of drugs and alcohol can have on an individual. Although the words may seem to glorify this lifestyle, they were more intended to shine a light on the contrast between the highest highs and lowest lows, because they tend to go hand in hand. It’s a kind of dirty homage to mental health. The band continues to explain the musical aspects behind the track: “We want to write music that gets people’s blood pumping and we think we accomplished that with “Lonely Wreck”. The eerie sound hovering over the instruments throughout most of the track sets the mood right from the get-go. There’s a lot of motion and dynamic throughout the song, wh...

I Am Pariah Release Single 'Suck It Up' Taken From Upcoming EP 'Charm Before The Storm'

Rising British nu-metalcore band I Am Pariah will release their new EP ‘Charm Before The Storm’ 27th November 2020. Laser tight and razor sharp, the Stoke On Trent metal experimentalists take things to the next level with this cathartic sonic experience following the release of 2018's successful 'Procreate//Annihilate' ep. Watch 'Suck It Up' (official lyric video): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0veiaMz8vQ4   "The new single 'Suck It Up' targets the topic of chaotic relationships, which comes from our own personal experiences of being wronged. People aren’t always what they seem, you think you know them, but it can be all smoke and mirrors. Life can be going so well, then out of nowhere a certain turn of events can completely turn your life upside down. To ‘suck it up’ is probably the worst piece of advice you can ever give to a person in crisis. In past times, that would have been the norm for humans to appear to be ok and hide their weakness. N...
