Global release date 25 September 2015!

Rammstein made a triumphant return to the U.S. stage for the first time in 10 years, to headline one sold-out concert at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. The venue’s more than 18,000 seats were snatched up for the special appearance within less than 30 minutes of going on sale, heralding Rammstein’s return with a frenzied fanfare on par with the German band’s elaborate stage presentation. On September 25, Island/UMe will release RAMMSTEIN I

N AMERIKA in 2DVD and 2Blu-ray packages, pairing the incendiary Madison Square Garden concert, expertly filmed and recorded in 5.1 surround, with a feature-length documentary film directed by Hannes Rossacher. A 20-minute film about the making of Rammstein’s sixth album, Liebe ist für alle da, is also included.

The two-hour RAMMSTEIN IN AMERIKA documentary throws open the band’s private archives spanning more than 20 years, including a trove of never-before-seen footage. Originated and personally overseen by Rammstein, the film is a fascinating chronological exploration of the band’s history, from the members’ shared experience of limited touring and other creative business opportunities behind the Iron Curtain in their native East Germany to bursting onto the world’s stage as metal/rock heroes after Germany’s reunification. The film follows Rammstein’s first forays into U.S. touring and American music business dealings in the 1990s, their work with David Lynch for the Lost Highway soundtrack, global radio and music television success, and international touring, which included the 1999 arrest of two of the band’s members in Massachusetts for elements of their stage presentation deemed by local police to be “lewd and lascivious behavior.”

The film also goes behind the scenes with Rammstein’s retreat from America in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, before concluding with the band’s eventual return to perform in America on November 12, 2010 at Madison Square Garden. In addition to Rammstein’s Till Lindemann (vocals), Richard Z. Kruspe (guitar), Paul Landers (guitar), Oliver Riedel (bass), Flake Lorenz (keyboard), and Christoph Schneider (drums, percussion), several well-known American artists, including Iggy Pop, Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Moby, Melissa Auf der Maur, Marilyn Manson, Kiefer Sutherland, Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Jonathan Davis (Korn), CJ Ramone, Scott Ian (Anthrax), Slipknot, System of a Down, KISS, and Taylor Momsen, are among the documentary’s diverse and insightful participants.

Shot in high definition with 14 cameras and 5.1 surround audio, Rammstein’s LIVE FROM MADISON SQUARE GARDEN concert film shows the band in full creative stride as they command the stage for their roof-raising return to New York. Rammstein’s complete performance of 18 songs is captured in the film, clocking in for one hour and 41 minutes of visual and sonic annihilation.

Also included is Paul Landers’ 20-minute Making Of Liebe ist für alle da documentary, which takes viewers into the studio during Rammstein’s November/December 2008 sessions for the band’s sixth album in Sonoma, California.

INTERVIEW: Cellar Darling (Switzerland)

INTERVIEW: Cellar Darling (Switzerland)

Cellar Darling is comprised of Anna Murphy, Ivo Henzi, and Merlin Sutter who recently formed following the spilt from previous well-known folk metal band, Eluveitie. The trio have been hard at work since, creating their anticipated debut album 'This Is The Sound' which was released June 30th via Nuclear Blast Records and have impressed fans and press alike with their fresh and unique sound which has been dubbed as "the new wave of folk rock“. This is an exciting and busy time for the band, so I caught up with them to find out about their origins, their new album, touring and what is in store for the band amongst other things..

Can you tell us about the formation of Cellar Darling following leaving your previous band Eluveitie and how the band came to be?
Merlin: What I remember most clearly is how quick it went. As you might know, the whole thing with Eluveitie came very unexpected for us - we were informed of a decision by the remain…

REVIEW: Bobaflex - Eloquent Demons

Hard Rockers Bobaflex from West Virginian are back to wreak havoc with their eighth album ‘Eloquent Demons’ which is the follow to 2015’s ‘Anything That Moves’, this sees not only their first release through Thermal Entertainment but their first actual label release in a while after the band decided to go independent. They are a very hardworking and tireless band, having extensively toured, and even setting records for this, they certainly don’t do anything by half measures.
The opening intro and title track sounds very appropriately evil, with a creepy intro speech to set the scene whilst we wait for the demons to be fully unleashed…
First proper track ‘I Am Nightmare’ immediately sees heavy dark guitars and melodic group singing, which give it a classic feel with a gritty edge and is possesses a hell of a powerful chorus, not to mention a killer solo – this will be hard to forget.
Keeping the momentum going is ‘Long Time Coming’ which is equally as hard-hitting, with groove ridden and…

INTERVIEW: Mutation (with Ginger Wildheart & Scott Lee Andrews)

Interview with Ginger Wildheart & Scott Lee Andrews of Mutation

Mutation are an extreme metal act from the UK formed in 2013 by well-known vocalist/guitarist Ginger Wildheart, the man behind the rock group The Wildhearts and the frontman of Exit International, Scott Lee Andrews. The trio is completed by drummer known as Denzel (Dean Pearson) who has been involved in many projects with Ginger and plays in Young Legionnaire. I caught up with Ginger and Scott to discuss the beginnings of Mutation, the new album '‘Mutation III: Dark Black’, touring, the future, mental health and much more in this interesting and honest interview.

As a musician who has played in many bands, most notably The Wildhearts and formed many projects, how did you come to form Mutation and why when you did?

Ginger: I did it mainly because I wanted to make the music that was in my head, and it didn’t look like anyone else wanted to do it.

At the time I was playing and writing with Michael Monroe, and while I l…
