Alternative rock legends Bush to hit UK for first tour in 8 years

Following the release of their acclaimed 10th album, I Beat Loneliness, BUSH are set to arrive for their first UK tour in eight years. Led by singer and guitarist Gavin Rossdale, the band will hit arenas in Nottingham, Cardiff, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London this November as special guests of Danish rockers Volbeat. Singer Gavin Rossdale said: “The reaction to I BEAT LONELINESS has been brilliant. We’re looking forward to playing for everyone. Lots of songs to choose from. It’s been too long and we’re thrilled to be coming. See you there!” The Peach Review described a North American show this summer as an “incredible performance, full of energy”, while Parklife DC wrote that a show was “far from a heritage act, blending their iconic ‘90s sound with a vibrant, contemporary edge”. BUSH burst into the rock firmament in 1994 with the classic alternative album Sixteen Stone, which featured singles including ‘Glycerine’ and ‘Machinehead’. Since then, major tracks have inclu...

BLEED FROM WITHIN announce intimate UK/IRE headline tour for 2026

Off the back of their colossal, sold-out UK tour earlier this month, Scottish metal heavyweights Bleed From Within are pleased to announce an extensive run of intimate, headline shows for March 2026. This run will include Disembodied Tyrant and Baest as supports for most nights. Bleed From Within stated: "The Dying Sun tour is something we've been waiting to announce for a very long time. The plan was to get back to our roots and follow a similar kind of routing that we would have done back in our formative years. Between 2007 and 2010, we performed countless times across the country in these cities and it really helped cement the foundations of our band. The name of the tour is a nod to one of our favourite tracks from our latest album, but also a teaser of what people can expect to hear at the shows... we consider Dying Sun a deep cut and we've already discussed a number of other songs from our catalogue that we would love to bring to the stage that people will not hav...

Rancid cover Motörhead's ‘Sex & Death’

Heavy metal and punk rock! It's fair to say that these two noisy tribes now have a great deal in common—often melding together, almost indistinguishable, to produce bastard offspring of their own. But it wasn’t always this way. Indeed, there was a time when fists were more likely to be thrown than bumped, and beers more likely to be hurled than shared—except when it came to Motörhead. That was the one band we could all agree on. The one band that was truly ours! Across the fourteen tracks on this album, cunningly titled Killed By Deaf, you’ll hear a loving tribute to Motörhead from some of punk rocks’ biggest and most respected bands. The latest of which to be revealed is ‘Sex & Death’ covered by punk legends Rancid out now. Lars Frederiksen (guitar/vocals) from the band says of their cover: “It's like, it's the perfect Motorhead song for me. You know as well as I do how much of a big Ramones fan Lem was. And it sounds to me like his take, Motörhead doing the Ramones...

TESTAMENT release new album 'Para Bellum' + animated video for 'High Noon'

Bay Area thrash metal icons TESTAMENT return with their fourteenth studio album, Para Bellum, which is out today via Nuclear Blast Records. The album stands as both a battle cry and an observation of humanity's uneasy alliance with its own creations. As technology accelerates and disconnection grows, Para Bellum sees TESTAMENT reflecting the modern chaos through music that’s urgent, sharp, and unflinchingly human. Testament's newest single, 'High Noon,' is a Wild West adventure set to music, evoking images of duels and gunslingers. The song offers a nod to the band's acclaimed The Gathering period, yet successfully incorporating fresh, contemporary elements, demonstrating the band's forward momentum. Watch the animated video for 'High Noon' created by Freakshot Films, here: https://youtu.be/q0fm7XmHJ_E Chuck Billy comments, "We are so fired up about the release of Para Bellum. There were a lot of hours spent putting this together. These new songs ...

MEGADETH UNVEIL “TIPPING POINT” AS THE FIRST SINGLE/VIDEO FROM THEIR 2026 SELF-TITLED ALBUM, THE BAND’S FINAL RELEASE

Today (October 3) MEGADETH have unveiled “Tipping Point” as the first single and video from their forthcoming self-titled final album due out in 2026 via DAVE MUSTAINE’s Tradecraft imprint in partnership with Frontiers Label Group’s new BLKIIBLK label. The sonically explosive and lyrically unflinching song kicks off with a thunderous guitar solo before DAVE’s iconic voice hauntingly kicks in. In the desolate but hopeful accompanying video, directed by Leonardo Liberti, DAVE is locked up in a prison being tortured in extreme fashion, while the band performs in the same lock-up. In the end DAVE perseveres evil and walks away into a new day.  Watch the video below and listen to the song HERE . “We all have different ‘tipping points’ and they may vary from day to day,” says MUSTAINE. “I think we’re all being pushed to the edge right now, and it’s easy to lean into that feeling. But it’s important not to let things get you down.” MEGADETH—Mustaine, Teemu Mäntysaari (Lead, Rh...

PENNYWISE RELEASE ‘ACE OF SPADES’ COVER TAKEN FROM THE FORTHCOMING ALBUM 'KILLED BY DEAF - A PUNK TRIBUTE TO MOTӦRHEAD'

Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge comments about their cover of Motörhead's timeless anthem, 'Ace Of Spades': “Getting into punk rock around 1980, basically the only metal band that was allowed to be part of the punk rock scene was Motörhead, as far as I was concerned. If you saw somebody show up in a jean vest with the Motörhead patch on the back it was like, “There’s a metaller, but he can hang with us!”. ‘Ace of Spades’ was the track where you heard that and went, “That’s not metal, that’s punk rock!” Heavy metal and punk rock! WA...

BLOODSTOCK announces BODY COUNT as special guests

It’s happening. After years of fans requesting it, BODY COUNT are finally set to tear up BLOODSTOCK in August 2026. The Grammy-winning crew led by Ice-T will make their long-overdue debut as special guests on the Ronnie James Dio main stage on the festival’s final day, Sunday 9th August, playing directly before headliner JUDAS PRIEST. No strangers to controversy or crushing riffs, BODY COUNT have been a rallying cry for raw, unapologetic heavy music since the early ‘90s. Born from Ice-T and guitarist Ernie C’s vision to fuse street grit with blistering metal, the band has built a reputation for leveling every stage they set foot on. With a Grammy win for Best Metal Performance (for ‘Bum-Rush’ off their Carnivore album) under their belt, they’re louder, harder, and more relevant than ever. Festival director Vicky Hungerford comments, “After 10 years of trying we FINALLY get Body Count to Bloodstock!!! This is going to be one of the most memorable shows the festival has ever seen...
