FALLEN ARISE Present Second Single And Official Lyric Video For “Enigma”

Athens based Symphonic Metallers FALLEN ARISE will release their new album “Enigma” on April 10th, via Rock Of Angels Records (ROAR). The band releases the second single and official lyric video for the title song “Enigma”, watch it here: https://youtu.be/fTaWaGbNAcg

The band on the new single:
“Talking about Enigma and trying to give a musical illustration of its direction, we are definitely talking about a song created with the central idea being the coexistence of the known sound of Fallen Arise and the new heavy aesthetics that the band wants to add into its music. This new "mix" is easily perceived by listening to the airy and mellow sounds of the impressive heavy riffs and breakdowns, a musical motive presented first to “Adeline” album and now fully matured and fully integrated into the band's style. The use of the orchestra, shows allegiance in the original roots, independent the innovations it tries. Something not clear also in the two previous albums, is the feeling of the “battle” between keys and guitar in “Enigma”.”

REVIEW: Spreading The Disease - Insurrection

Modern metal quartet Spreading The Disease from Kent, UK formed in 2014 and then earlier this year in September 2017 they finally unleased their debut album ‘Insurrection’ which shows they are ready to infect metalheads and critics alike with their no-nonsense sounds…
Opening song ‘Find My Path’ starts with a melodic and resonant intro before fierce vocals come in with hard-hitting heavy guitars, it then goes on to feature an effective stripped back section towards the end which gives it extra depth. This is a powerful and strong start to the album.
‘Words Unspoken’ is a thumping tune with great rhythms and is very headbang worthy and incredibly catchy, keeping up the momentum is self-named track ‘Spreading The Disease’ which immediately pulls you in with catchy melodies and is all consuming with mighty riffs and a massive aggressive sound.
Latest single ‘Greed’ is frantic and driven and features some of the best guitarwork so far and again is very belligerent and is bound to get the mos…

Band-Maid MCM Comic Con Live Review/Feature - Fringe Festival 29/5/16

J-Rockers Band-Maid make first European performance at huge MCM Comic Con

Band-Maid, one of Japan’s up-and-coming all-girl rock acts, made their live debut to UK/Europe at MCM London Comic Con, which took place from 27-29th May 2016 at ExCel London, hosting the UK's biggest Modern Pop Culture Event.

The Tokyo quintet who formed in 2013, consisting of Miku (guitar/vocals), Saiki (vocals), Kanami (guitar), Akane (drums) and bassist Misa – have been building quite a reputation and fan-base all over with their blend of cute yet deadly rock music and stand out imagery (appropriately dressing as maids) whilst they unleash and deliver their seriously skilled and striking sounds. The concept of the maid outfit aesthetic stems from founder Miku’s experiences in the maid cafes of Akihabara – the Tokyo district known for otaku (‘geek’) culture and passion for rock music.

Through their music videos they have been reaping success and gaining well deserved attention, especially for the videos f…
