TEDDY ROCKS FESTIVAL 2023 ANNOUNCES 100+ ARTISTS FOR EPIC 10TH FESTIVAL LINE-UP

Today Teddy Rocks Festival announce over 100 artists joining the 2023 line-up for the 10th edition of the non-profit festival, set to be its biggest year yet. Headliners the anthemic indie rock favourites Feeder and indie folk singer songwriter Jake Bugg will be joined by Reading rockers The Amazons, South Yorkshire indie fourpiece The Reytons, Dutch pop stars Vengaboys, nineties boy band East 17, Welsh humorous hip-hop group Goldie Lookin Chain amongst many more, to celebrate 10 years of the family friendly festival, with further acts yet to be announced. Teddy Rocks Festival will continue to raise money for children cancer charities on 28-30 April 2023, returning to Charisworth Farm, located in a stunning Dorset valley. Tickets are on sale now from Ticketek.co.uk.

Returning to headline Teddy Rocks Festival for a second time is the celebrated and multi-platinum selling rock band Feeder. Since forming in Newport, Wales in 1994, Feeder have released 11 studio albums, 12 compilations, 4 EPs and 43 singles, and are one of the Britpop era bands to have continued success following their peak. The band will undoubtedly delight Teddy Rocks Festival fans once again, with sing-a-long classics Buck Rogers, Just the Way I’m Feeling, Come Back Around, and Just a Day, and tracks from the recently released album ‘Torpedo’.

The festival will also welcome the BRIT Award and Mercury Prize nominated singer songwriter Jake Bugg as its second headliner. Hailing from Clifton in Nottingham, Jake’s bluesy indie folk and distinctive vocals saw his self-titled debut album shoot to the top of the album charts in 2012, with his melodies bringing retro sounds into a contemporary landscape. Following the release of a further four studio albums, Teddy Rocks Festival can expect fan favourite singles Lightning Bolt and Two Fingers, amongst tracks from 2021’s ‘Saturday Night, Sunday Morning’.

Also joining the epic Teddy Rocks Festival 2023 line-up is Reading indie rock band The Amazons, who are set to wow fans with riffs and licks from their two Top 10 records and anthems from their latest release ‘How Will I Know If Heaven Will Find Me’. Guaranteed to get the crowds riled up and ready to rock is South Yorkshire’s The Reytons, armed with tracks from their highly anticipated second album, and Hastings punk fourpiece Kid Kapichi, who are renowned for a ferocious and euphoric live show, plus Welsh rockers Those Damn Crows, 14 piece heavy bass jazz fusion outfit Dutty Moonshine Big Band, and DIY punk rock cover band Punk Rock Factory, amongst many, many more.

Teddy Rocks Festival is also very excited to announce the addition of the 10 Year Pop Party to celebrate the festival’s 10th edition. For the ultimate slice of 90s nostalgia, Dutch Eurodance group Vengaboys are set to get the disco started with classic dancefloor hits We Like To Party, and Boom Boom, Boom, Boom!!, joined by iconic 90s boy band East 17 now led by original member Terry Coldwell, and the OOs Newport comedy hip-hop group Goldie Looking Chain, with more acts yet to be announced.

Tom Newton, Teddy Rocks Festival says: “It has been an absolute rollercoaster taking this festival from the back room of a pub to where it is today. There have been some big lows and some unbelievable highs throughout. We have built an incredible team of volunteers who all share the same passion and vision to do good, so to be here launching our 10th teddy rocks is amazing! I’m really excited to see the event take on the next chapter and provide critical support for children and their families battling cancer.”

Teddy Rocks Festival gives 100% of its profits directly to charities that support children with cancer and research. Set up by Tom Newton in 2011 after he lost his 10 year old brother Ted to a rare bone cancer called Ewings Sarcoma. It has raised over £460,000 since its inception. Starting as a gig in a pub, the family friendly festival is now a 3 day outdoor camping festival, with six stages, a funfair, shops and stalls, and a selection of gourmet food traders, and won Best Family Festival at the 2022 UK Festival Awards.
