UK alternative rock trio VEINS are back with their imposing new single and video, Sunlight, out now. It’s the first taste of their highly anticipated debut album, A New Forever, which arrives on Friday 5th June. Formed in Corby, England, VEINS first made waves with their debut single, Ambi, earning national radio support including airplay on BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 1. Blending cinematic scope with raw emotional intensity, the band’s sound sits between post-rock expansiveness and modern alternative edge, all driven by textured guitars, brooding melodies and anthemic crescendos. Their early releases, including Blood On My Hands, helped to build the alt rockers’ growing reputation and sharing stages with the likes of Holding Absence, InMe and Press to MECO, also greatly assisted with their rising live presence.

Now with Sunlight, VEINS deliver their most focused and emotionally resonant single to date. The track moves from atmospheric restraint into a soaring and uplifting climax. It captures a real sense of hope cutting through darkness. Stevie Rees (Vocals/Guitar) elaborates: “Sunlight is about the sadness and helplessness of watching someone you love battle depression and trying to appear strong for them. It is probably one of the most organic songs we’ve written as it just seemed to come together really easily.”

The single signals renewed creative momentum and sets the tone for what’s to come on A New Forever. The upcoming album explores themes of resilience and renewal. Expansive and intimate, A New Forever, represents the band at their most ambitious, refining their signature cinematic sound into a cohesive and emotionally charged debut statement.

Rees goes on to remark: “This album has been a long time coming and we can’t wait to finally let people hear it. Lyrically, it’s very personal, confronting some dark themes, but it’s also about hope. Musically, the atmospheric elements contrasted with the big cinematic moments really bring the mood of the record to life.”
