UK pop-punkers LOOK WHAT HAPPENED have just dropped their brand new single and video, 'Make It Real'. The track is taken from their new EP, Weak Minds For The Weekend, out this Friday the 30th October. We exclusively caught up the band and asked them for this track breakdown of the new EP:
Make It Real
"This anthemic & raucous banger centres on the struggles with inner truth and de realisation. An honest admission focusing on neglecting personal growth and clinging to bad habits, inevitably breeding failure & apathy. It questions whether these shortcomings are a result of self sabotage or a faulty brain."
Service Charge
"An ode to the overdraft; rhythmically frantic, blisteringly chaotic, Service Charge explores hedonistic values, destructive excess and routine escapism. The lyrics and instrumentation embrace the destructive loop of a weekend warrior navigating through a world that seeks to subdue and pacify."
Goldstone
"This fierce paced, emotionally driven tale of worthlessness, self harm and loneliness gives an intimate peak into an often unspoken & abrasive world of depression. Evokes a feelings of dipping ones toes into a sea of false reality but feeling the tide retreating back, revealing only painful melancholy."
Liquid Equilibrium
"This dark, haunting and intimate ballad serves as a cathartic confession of callousness. Inadequacies that drive us to selfishly hurt others in order to feel a non existent balance. This is an honest appraisal that seeks to capture the recurring weight of guilt, where feelings are stripped bare and foibles are magnified."
'Weak Minds For The Weekend' EP is out 30th October 2026.
