WE CAME AS ROMANS drop two new singles ahead of their upcoming US tour with Motionless In White

Brotherhood lasts forever. No matter what happens, those bonds endure in memories and moments. We Came As Romans hold a similar link between them. After nearly 15 years together, countless sold out shows, critical acclaim, and over 250 million streams, the Michigan quintet - Joshua Moore [guitar], Dave Stephens [vocals], Lou Cotton [guitar], Andy Glass [bass] and David Puckett [drums] - weathered their darkest time and emerge stronger in the name of a fallen brother and member: Kyle Pavone.

The band has released two brand new songs: Carry the Weight and From the First Note. These are the first tracks that the band has released since Pavone's tragic passing in August 2018. Watch and listen below:

"When Kyle passed away, it changed everything for us personally and, as a byproduct, everything for the band", says Moore. "An earth-shattering event puts a lot of things in perspective. We've spent so much time together. We've been doing this since we were kids. The one thing that won't change is the way Kyle affected my life. Before we were bandmates, we were essentially brothers. In order to be genuine to our fans and ourselves, we had to write about what we dealt with losing him. At the same time, this isn't just a bunch of songs soaking in depression. We want to celebrate what we built."

'"Carry the Weight' is about dealing with the immense grief and sadness throughout navigating the loss of Kyle", the band explains. "It's a very honest song, and we're very open about how it felt continuing to play shows without him on stage with us. It's about the darkest part of our grieving process, and the only way we see ourselves moving forward - through the memory, the 'light', that Kyle shone on our band."

About 'From the First Note', the band says, "It shows the other side of the loss of Kyle, remembering him and all the moments we shared, what we've created together, and how he will always be a part of us. That we can find his light in every aspect of the band, and feel thankful that we got to have that time of our lives with him. It's a song about celebrating our accomplishments together, reliving the moments from our youngest days as a band, and knowing that he's with us as we move forward."

We Came As Romans will return to the road next month with Motionless in White. All dates, including a few headline shows, are below and tickets available here: https://wcarmusic.com

Band-Maid MCM Comic Con Live Review/Feature - Fringe Festival 29/5/16

J-Rockers Band-Maid make first European performance at huge MCM Comic Con

Band-Maid, one of Japan’s up-and-coming all-girl rock acts, made their live debut to UK/Europe at MCM London Comic Con, which took place from 27-29th May 2016 at ExCel London, hosting the UK's biggest Modern Pop Culture Event.

The Tokyo quintet who formed in 2013, consisting of Miku (guitar/vocals), Saiki (vocals), Kanami (guitar), Akane (drums) and bassist Misa – have been building quite a reputation and fan-base all over with their blend of cute yet deadly rock music and stand out imagery (appropriately dressing as maids) whilst they unleash and deliver their seriously skilled and striking sounds. The concept of the maid outfit aesthetic stems from founder Miku’s experiences in the maid cafes of Akihabara – the Tokyo district known for otaku (‘geek’) culture and passion for rock music.

Through their music videos they have been reaping success and gaining well deserved attention, especially for the videos f…

REVIEW: Spreading The Disease - Insurrection

Modern metal quartet Spreading The Disease from Kent, UK formed in 2014 and then earlier this year in September 2017 they finally unleased their debut album ‘Insurrection’ which shows they are ready to infect metalheads and critics alike with their no-nonsense sounds…
Opening song ‘Find My Path’ starts with a melodic and resonant intro before fierce vocals come in with hard-hitting heavy guitars, it then goes on to feature an effective stripped back section towards the end which gives it extra depth. This is a powerful and strong start to the album.
‘Words Unspoken’ is a thumping tune with great rhythms and is very headbang worthy and incredibly catchy, keeping up the momentum is self-named track ‘Spreading The Disease’ which immediately pulls you in with catchy melodies and is all consuming with mighty riffs and a massive aggressive sound.
Latest single ‘Greed’ is frantic and driven and features some of the best guitarwork so far and again is very belligerent and is bound to get the mos…
