Luna Kills release new modern single 'bITTER sONGS COME EASY'

Good news from Finland - Luna Kills is preparing to release their second album! Gigs from all the way abroad, with crackling live performance this alternative rock band releases their upcoming album ‘’not to be bitter, but it helps’’ on 11th of June 2021 and offers first taste of it in the form of single ‘’bITTER sONGS COME EASY’’.

‘’The song deals with emotions of disbelief and bitterness, which are often emotions that you don’t want to admit that you feel, but you do and you pour them on to other people’’, vocalist Lotta Ruutiainen explains

The song is guaranteed earworm material with it’s heavy-hitting riffs and choruses, flowing seamlessly with modern production. The song has already gotten it’s deserved air time on the largest national radio stations in Finland - Radio Rock, YleX. Like so many, the song was born in the aftermath of the covid-19 crisis when emotions were building up and it seemed like nothing mattered in the moment.

‘’In the spring of 2020 we noticed that everyone was leaning towards heavier songwriting, we all had the feeling that let just do whatever, let’s not take any negative pressure about anything. And we just wrote all the feelings we had into this song’’, Lotta shares.

The end result was surprising in a good way for the band and the songs final potential revealed in studio:

‘’In studio we realized that this could be very strong pick as an opening single!’’

New All-Stars melodic death metal band/project ACT OF DENIAL was formed in 2020 and composed of lead guitarist and songwriter Voi Cox (Koziak, Victim), guitarist and lyricist Luger (Benighted, Koziak), vocalist Bjorn Speed Strid (Soilwork), bassist Steve Di Giorgio (Death, Testament), drummer Krimh (Septicflesh) and keyboardist John Lönnmyr (The Night Flight Orchestra). Voi and Luger told us: “This is now just a continuation of what we have been doing all our lives and only now in our 'older age' we have done something serious. Of course when it comes to music, at least for us, we wanted to record an album with some of the best musicians in metal music and the ones that we listened to when we were kids. We are not saying that this is something special what we are doing, but this means a lot to us and basically we are doing this for ourselves and our closest friends first but also for all the metal fans around the world who we hope are going to like our new music.
