ARCTANGENT Festival announces over 50 more bands

Following on from last years incredible and sold out (and probably best so far) 10th Anniversary event, the much loved and mighty award winning ARCTANGENT Festival returns this summer, and can today reveal another host of amazing acts for the event.

To kick things off we have TWO more headliners for the festival. Firstly playing their first ever ATG are Norwegian band Wardruna, who will be bringing their Norse musical interpretations and traditions to the festival as our Wednesday night headliners. With this incredible band now in place, the Wednesday for this years Arctangent Festival will be its biggest ever, with more stages open to accomodate, but still no clashes! Then we have the brilliant UK prog rock band Tesseract, who will be returning to ATG and headlining the main stage on the Saturday this year, closing out an intense two year touring period of their album 'War Of Being'.

Joining them include a group that were supposed to play in 2024 but ended up having to pull out, the mysterious and insanely exciting Clown Core (playing their first ever ATG). Also announced today are Norwegian prog metal band Leprous, stunning danish alternative band Mew (as a UK festival exclusive and one of their last ever performances), French rock 3 piece (par excellencé) Slift, and one of the finest indie rock bands in the world, Arab Strap (playing their first ever ATG, and whose most recent album is a 10/10).

Other artists announced include UK stoner rock band Green Lung (as a UK festival exclusive/playing their first ever ATG), Chicago post-metal (and genuinely world beating) band Pelican, Japanese band Envy (a UK exclusive), and the stunning American singer songwriter Emma Ruth Rundle.

Already announced for this summers main stage are the phenomenal Australian progressive metal band Karnivool, as well as the likes of Melvins (UK festival exclusive), Rolo Tomassi, DVNE and another ATG debut/festival exclusive Kylesa. There will also be some very special ARCTANGENT Festival exclusive sets from Between the Buried And Me (who will be performing 2 sets including a 'Colors' in full set), The Fall Of Troy (who will be playing 'Doppelganger' in full), and We Lost the Sea (playing 2 sets 'Departure Song' in full and a hits set).

ARCTANGENT Festival will be taking place on the 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th of August 2025, tickets for the event are on sale now, and available from - HERE will be taking place on the 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th of August 2025, tickets for the event are on sale now, and available from - HERE

From ARCTANGENT Festival organiser and booked, James Scarlett - "To have Wardruna, a Main Stage headliner, closing off the Wednesday night of ArcTanGent 2025 truly cements this as our biggest year yet. If you can make it to ATG a day early, a 4-Day ticket is now a no brainer. Not to mention TesseracT headlining Saturday night alongside the new additions of Clown Core, Mew, Arab Strap, Envy, Green Lung and tonnes more across the whole weekend. You’re not going to want to miss a second of this weekend - FOMO is an understatement."

From James Monteith of Tesseract - "We’re beyond excited to headline the Saturday at Arctangent 2025! The lineup once again boasts some of the most innovative and forward-thinking alternative bands around, and we’re truly honoured to close out the festival. This show will also mark the conclusion of our two-year tour in support of War of Being, so we’re planning a very special performance to celebrate this milestone."

From Leprous vocalist and keyboardist, Einar Solberg - “Always such a pleasure playing at Arctangent! Definitely one of the coolest festivals in the UK. Can’t wait to be back, and see you all there later this year!”

From Green Lung frontman Tom Templar "We can't wait to grace the hallowed ground of Fernhill Farm for the first time - ArcTanGent is without doubt one of the most forward-thinking and diverse heavy festivals going, and we're excited to bring some old school British heavy metal thunder to what is already a stellar lineup. If the scheduling team are reading this, please don't let us clash with Melvins."
