Celebrating 10 years, UPRISING returns to Leicester's O2 Academy for a huge milestone event, with returning favourites and heavy hitters making their debut.

UK metallers PITCHSHIFTER are confirmed as headliners for Uprising! This will be the band’s only live performance in 2026 and as always it promises to be unmissable. The band’s career straddles 30 years, 10 albums, tours of over 30 countries, cover features in Metal Hammer, Rock Sound and Kerrang! magazines, John Peel and Radio One Rock Show Sessions, and profile slots at Ozzfest, Reading & Leeds, Damnation, Vans Warped Tour and the Big Day Out. Their music has been featured across numerous movies, TV and video games - hell, they’ve even had a strip in 2000AD magazine with Judge Dredd. After decades in the game, they are loved by many bands and are still cited as an influence by upcoming artists.

Scream it with us: “OFFICER DOWN!” Making their long-awaited Uprising debut are none other than Cheltenham’s own STAMPIN’ GROUND, legendary titans of the UK heavy music scene. Fusing crushing aggression with razor-sharp melody, their sound is as ferocious as it is unforgettable.


With a legacy that includes tours with Chimaira, The Haunted, and God Forbid, and a standout performance on the main stage at the inaugural Download Festival, STAMPIN’ GROUND are back to remind everyone exactly why they're one of the most revered names in British metal.

The iconic thrashers have had a career that’s seen them break into the charts with their infamous cover of Kim Wilde’s “Kids in America,” and of course, the seasonal anthem “F U Christmas.” Get ready for another wild performance packed with energetic stage antics!

Making their Uprising debut are Northern metalcore quartet MANØRS. Following airplay on BBC Radio 1 and successful performances at Call of the Wild and Wildfire Festival, the band are making their mark on the UK unsigned metal scene. Their performance promises an emotive showcase of furious vocals, an intense rhythm section, and riffs that will get your blood pumping and your feet bouncing.

Bringing a powerful change of pace to Uprising are hard rockers PRYMA, renowned for their electrifying stage presence and relentless energy. The band has earned a reputation across the UK rock and metal scene through extensive touring, including sharing the stage with Blaze Bayley, formerly of Iron Maiden. Their momentum continues to build with standout performances at prestigious festivals and events such as Bloodstock, solidifying their status as one of the most exciting live acts to watch

Returning to Uprising after their electrifying performance on the main stage at Uprising 6, HAWXX are back—and louder than ever. Describing themselves as the musical embodiment of a feral sisterhood, HAWXX aim to “be the thread that binds us together in love and rage,” with women and the queer community at the heart of everything they do. Their live shows are a force of nature: intense, energetic, and unapologetically aggressive. Through razor-sharp riffs and fierce vocals, HAWXX tackle weighty themes including oppressive beauty standards, violence against women, and feminist resistance. FRACTIONS return to Uprising’s monumental 10th anniversary! The local heroes are back and louder than ever. Known for their critically acclaimed sound, FRACTIONS shared the stage with progressive metal heavyweights Tesseract on their Russian tour in 2018. After a period of silence, the band is emerging from hiatus with brand new music, ready to melt faces with crushing riffs, technical drumming, and massive anthemic hooks.
