Ascending British rock rebels, PARADISE SINS, are poised to reveal their explosive new single and video, 'Bad Bad Bad' — which drops on Friday 29th August. Pulling no punches and dripping with swagger, it’s loud, sin-soaked, and grinning with menace. With the band on the rise, we asked them to reveal the tracks that have shaped and influenced their sound the most:
Track choice: Ozzy Osbourne - Bark at the Moon:
"This is the blueprint for me. The riff is electrifying. Something overlooked is Ozzy's ability to weave vocals in a way that let's the music breathe. Of course there's the searing solo that takes it to another level. These are all elements that I think make for a near perfect rock song."
Dan (Guitarist)
Track choice: H.E.A.T - One by One:
Conor (Guitarist)
Track choice: Motley Crue - Wild Side:
"I was brought up on the best kind of music. To this day, I still remember listening to Motley Crue, Wild Side, over and over because to me, that was the coolest guitar riff I had ever heard."
Dav (Bassist)
Track choice: Iron Maiden - 2 Minutes to Midnight:
"2 Minutes to Midnight by Iron Maiden isn't just my top inspiration for this band but it's easily in my top five songs of all time. That first riff goes so damn hard, building into a chorus that makes you wanna smack your head into your steering wheel. It's powerful, dynamic and fucking awesome."
Track choice: Mastodon - Oblivion:
"I chose Oblivion by Mastodon for its back and forth between hard hitting and melodic sections, which I think sums up our music perfectly. Each member gets a chance to stand out and make the song their own. Brann is also one of my favourite drummers and I like to think he’s had an influence on my sound."
